Bruneau Canyon located south of Boise near Bruneau Idaho. From HWY 51 (78) at Bruneau take Hot Springs Road south to lookout on BLM land. It is a hour drive on a dirt road, and couple hours from just about anything to get here- but worth it for the view. This is one of the most remote areas in the lower 48.
If you do happen to go here stop by the little cafe on the corner of Hot Springs Road and the highway in Bruneau. It is an old fashioned Mom-and-Pop restaurant with big portions of home cooking at a reasonable price. Perfect after a long drive in the desert.

Something i knocked up quickly to enable me to attach the wireless remote control onto the tripod (freeing up the hotshoe on the S100fs)
It just clamps onto your tripod leg and plug remote into camera.
You need:

1x 6mm long bolt
All parts are available on Ebay etc
