On a remote stand at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport in a late cloudy afternoon after the flight from CNX. This was captured on Thai Airways A333 registered as HS-TEH. Those buses are going to take us to the terminal.
Not exactly the prettiest remote, but I think I really dig using my iPad and/or iPhone as a remote control for my TV.
Taken with the amazing Canon PowerShot ELPH 300 HS camera.
This camera is really awesome. So awesome, you should buy one right now from Amazon ($172 as of December '11).
Watch out! With the push of a button, this motorized plush skunk's tail flips up, ready to surprise anyone who comes too close. It looks and walks like the real thing, and the remote makes it easy to control its rotation and movement in any direction. Requires 4 AA batteries (not included). Ages 6 and up.

We went to Kanchanaburi to see the Bridge over the River Kwai, and whilst we were there we hired a motorbike and drove out to the more remote parts of the country.
This is about a thirty minute drive out from the Chungkai War Cemetary. I took this at about ten in the morning, I think morning light has a lovely quality to it for this kind of picture.
I think this scene has something of a timeless romance to it.
Man discovers fire...man discovers the wheel... man develops plumbing, electricity... man discovers the world is round... man discovers the Americas...man discovers electricity....man abuses everything man has discovered...man gets lazy...man freaks out... cause man cant find remote to tv....man is stupid
SGT Larry Clavette remotely sends commands to his RQ-11 Raven UAV for preflight functions checks Jan. 15 at Fort Hood, TX, during a Raven certification course. Using quantum communications in the future, such commands would be teleported to the Raven rather than transmitted. (U.S. Army photo by SGT Samuel Northrup, 7th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment)
Each passenger in coach had a video screen (not shown) and a tethered remote, which could double as a game joystick.
In the background: my 12" iBook, Japanese disembarkation card, and a Pepsi.
Not exactly the prettiest remote, but I think I really dig using my iPad and/or iPhone as a remote control for my TV. The keyboard is definitely a better experience this way compared to either the onscreen keyboard or the keyboard built into Vizio's Bluetooth remote. Then again, I'm a much bigger fan of the iPhone's style keyboard than something like a Droid or a Sidekick (both similar in style to Vizio's remote keyboard).

Our TiVo is one of the models manufactured by Humax. This is actually a replacement remote we ordered from the TiVo web site. But it differs only in minor ways from the original on which the power button wore out. (You would think the channel selector, which gets a lot more use, would have been the first to go.)
My main office in Canada is having a photo day today, so I thought I would send my version of what they all expect me to look like in my home office.
A brief look at Helicon Remote (a focus stacking controller) on Android controlling my Nikon D610 and the Sigma 150mm Macro. Apologies for the poor audio quality. Visit our Website: bit.ly/2ujWacd Sign up for our Newsletter: bit.ly/2w8Cllj
Dec 2 337/366- These three pretty girls have been bugging me to put up their photo on the "wall o'photos" in my classroom. I explained that the only way I would put up the picture would be if they were on flickr. They agreed and helped me stage this FGR shot.
Today FGR invades the "Show Some Remotes" group. Teaching video production I have this huge drawer of leftover remotes to things we probably don't even own, but we can never find the one we need. Ten remotes and six hands, still nothing on but the commercial!
