Remember 9-11

Saturday 10th November 2018 was the 100th anniversary of the end of World War One. It was commemorated in Carlisle with special events around the city under the banner 'Carlisle Remembers 1918'

ehh, i dont know about this one. just trying something out. kinda intense for me. i might delete it later. tell me what you think.

- Kenji...

Deus... Quando tudo se tornara tão confuso?

Só desejava voltar no tempo, e impedir Jem.

Comprou o livro pra mim...? - E foi só o que saiu dos lábios.

I got this coffee mug while I had my white cat, Charlie. The message on it is "If I don't get a treat soon... it's going to be curtains" & the back shows a cat scratching fabric. As Charlie scratched a lot of my home, it seemed appropriate.

This Civil War Soldier of the 14th NH Infantry is remembered annually nearly a century and a half after his death.

Day 159 of 365 (Saturday) - It is fireworks day, but that is not my reason for wishing to remember today. My sister and her daughter came to visit and we all headed to the beach in our coats, wrapped up warm. My daughter couldn't resist a paddle, so took off a few clothes for that, then my son and niece decided to join her. It wasn't long before all clothes had been cast aside. My sister and I looked on, admiring there perfect little bodies and the pleasure they had there in the brief time that the sun shone today. What they are constructing here was later converted into the "hand and feet washer 3000" by my son. This enabled them to rinse themselves off and we could then scoop them in our arms and lift them to a breaker to get dressed on, ensuring they were snuggly in their coats once more. It is moments like this that I truly hope my photos will help me remember.

Hero and testimonial speaker Jenifer Fox addressed the attendees of the Heroes Breakfast. Here, she honors her friend and sorority sister who passed away after an epileptic seizure.

The Heroes Breakfast honors the Red Cross' longstanding tradition of heroism by recognizing local individuals whose extraordinary acts of courage or kindness make them a hero. People in the Puget Sound area make a difference in the lives of others everyday. They show kindness and compassion, and give of themselves in unexpected and extraordinary ways.

Memorial Day Ceremony is the annual event held to honor and pay tribute to the men and women of the armed forces, "who gave their all."

The Tidewater Veterans Memorial stands in tribute to veterans of all wars and current military personnel. Six years under design and construction, it was completed in 1988 and has received awards for design and public art. The memorial is located on 19th Street across from the Virginia Beach Convention Center. The Veterans Memorial Park, dedicated to those service members who honorably served their country, is behind the memorial.

Not many sunny days to remember in 2012, especially the awful summer months, this was taken in june on one of the few better days, things seem so much better when the sun is shining.

A giant, inflatable turkey holds a sign that says "remember." I really have no idea what this is about. Thanksgivng decorations are kind of rare and usually more muted.

Jack McRuff, aka The Little Prince, aka Plume, has gone to the great Catnip Bed in the Sky on October 10. He was taken by, in the view of the kindly vet at the emergency pet vet, an extremely swift-growing brain tumour. He went from lively and into every packing box to unhappy and very ill in less than 10 days. Alas, the very morning I had to set off driving the 16' truck to our new home in Port Townsend, Washington, Dr. Laura called me to the vet center with bad news, and I had to make that awful decision that breaks the heart of every 'pet parent.'

Jacky was a charmer, so vain of his beautiful plume-like tail, flicking it even in his sleep. I rarely had a weekend lie-in, as Jack would never eat his breakfast until he'd roused me and been escorted to his dish. I will always remember his beautiful lustrous coat bouncing as he ran to my call, his ability to turn the hall corner by ricocheting off a wall three feet up from the floor, and his tenor purr while kneading my hair into knots every single morning.

The Cat Boy Three's remaining members, Max and Dexter, lamented his passing during the entire 25 hours they were on the road. No tour will ever be the same...
