The weekly macros that I took and eliminated to the best but only five make it so the rest are rejects...
You can look at the rejects and decide that I'm correct or wrong as I can not decide which is good but I must have only 5 to enter to the pool of Macro Mondays!
What: Campaign buttons from the past fall's election.
When obtained: Summer, 2009.
Why kept: I was pretty involved in the recent democratic primary, and
had a pile of stuff I wanted to file in the event I ever did this
again, including these buttons.
Destination: Garbage
Confession: I've been taking classes with some mixed media artists.
These ladies will recycle anything! And I've experimented with
freecycling some pretty wacky stuff. I posted this the other day (so
I thought) and it never wound up on the board.
Freecyclers, don't judge me, man!
Be well!
Melbourne, Thursday 15 November, 2012: Sharks and a giant tuna can are occupying the roof of John West’s headquarters in Melbourne this morning as part of a Greenpeace campaign to expose the company’s destructive fishing practices.
Rain rain go away.
So the typhoon hit us here in Taiwan on Sunday.
The highest number Taiwan has ever experienced, scale was 17. Apparently it only reached 10 on the scale where I am, here down south.
But it was still pretty scary.
I had experienced a few days when the rain would go on non-stop, for many many hours at a time. Whereby the typhoon was close, but was not spot on over Taiwan.
But this time, it was pretty scary.
And it's funny yet ridiculous as it was a waste of time for my mother, aunts and cousin, who were technically here for a holiday. But we ended up spending a bit of time Sunday afternoon til evening pretty much stuck indoors for safety reasons.
It's even more scarier when you're on the 12th floor.
But what got me was how bored I was, stuck in the hotel room. I could think of a million things to do back at home, but I was stuck in the hotel room with nothing to do except from sleep.
That is what happens to your pinkie when you are left handed. I happened to be writing a particularly lot that day.
Noticed these trainers discarded under a bush. My first reaction was to think how sad someone is littering the countryside. Then I began to think about what would make someone throw away a perfectly good pair of trainers.
