Natalie and I made a last-minute decision to visit the National Zoo today. It was a good choice :). We made dinner (to eat when we returned) and got on the metro at like 5pm. From the metro, we walked to the zoo. We wandered around and looked at all the animals for about an hour. Unfortunately, a lot of the animals had already gone to bed for the night :-/. On the plus side- most people were leaving as we were entering, so we managed to dodge most crowds.

We came back and had shrimp for dinner. Then we Took Samson to the batting cage.

I'm working on a little splash page for my domain. Originally I was planning to use this image as the background, but I changed my mind and I'm using something different so I figured I'd post this to Flickr.

This most closely mirrors official stuff, but I rejected it as sign art because it is too busy to be read by a car going 40 mph. Too many words distracts from the message, I decided.

I was invited to the Jetset Rejects rehearsal space to capture some images. They played a few songs and then we set up for a few portraits. Great guys who have independently been in the music biz for decades.
