I just love summer!!! This morning we enjoyed a leisurely breakfast on our balcony, I can smell the sweet scent of the ocean! Summer is here (it's officially still Spring but hey... I think we'll have 6 months of sunshine coming YAY!!!). Pure bliss living just 10 minutes walk to the beach!
Ok this is our salad at lunch time. No need to complicate things, just serve anything fresh and add salt & pepper!!
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm enjoy!

Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves. ~John Muir

Green is always the color impossible for me to say No to. Yes, it is one of my favorite colors besides the color purple.
As I was walking on my high heel funky shoes today on the most busy street in this tropical island country called Singapore. I was walking and thinking at the same time.
I was wondering and thinking what will be the solution for my recent and long time issue which has been bothering me for quite a while. It must be quite a scene if anyone ever paying attention on me. Looking at this lady has a short and tight dress with a light green hand knitting V shape blouse on top and walking with this black and funky high heel shoes. Under shining sun and blue sky on Orchard road.
I was thinking what is the meaningful life that I really want. And how can I make it happen without dragging me into the same old cycle over and over again. I guess no one can really help me if I don't help myself.
Life is always full of ups and downs. No one is perfect and every one makes mistakes here and there. I guess it must be a reason to make me stop on the road side by Orchard road and low down my body and took this shot as I wanted to take a macro shot. There was one or two people passing by me and turned their head back and looked at me. I thought it was quite funny that they do that.
So green and the simple lines. Do these two combination mean anything to me? I don't know yet and maybe I will get it later and maybe not. But it doesn't really matter. One thing I did get out from this shot is to go forward straight with refreshing mind to face whatever is in front of me. Time to make change and take charge, girl!

The bottom of Lake Falls at Matthiessen State Park in Illinois. Easily 15 degrees cooler in the canyon than above.
Another fruit photo!! I couldn't help it... nothing more refreshing than a beautiful mandarin on a hot humid day like today ;)
Captured for Happy Truck Thursday. HTT everyone!
I had a nice conversation with the driver. After i explained that i was taking a photo because I liked the picture, he asked what i liked about it. After I said that i liked the bright colors and the orange with a straw in it, he encouraged me to take all the pictures i wanted.
It's SO hard to believe there are people that just walk and never pay attention to they Beauty that surrounds them. Me, I'm always looking all around, my head spins like the Exorcist. lol
refrescante!

Here is a shot that I took in Uvas Canyon. This place is very shady and mossy with lots of fungus everywhere. For some reason this place felt very refreshing. Flopper and I had a good time photographing many different things Uvas had to offer.

Water Lily or lotus are always my favorite. It just impossible to resist the pure and beauty of this flower can present it to you.
The rain drops left over from last night are still visible evidence everywhere on the petals.
So refreshing and pretty!
- www.kevin-palmer.com - In the dry and hot climate of Nevada, Lehman Creek was cold and refreshing.
These hosta blossoms are almost finished now, but a week ago or so, they were lovely, especially after a big rainstorm.
That was the point of this trip out west, and no place does that for me like this part of the country. Even on a cloudy day the colors up here are amazing. Soon the slopes behind me and this beautiful park will be covered in snow.
I find myself stashing the colorful images of this trip to Colorado away in my mind, somewhat like squirrels gather acorns, to get through the long monochromatic Winter that inevitably lies ahead.
