Reflection is a flower of the mind, giving out wholesome fragrance; but revelry is the same flower, when rank and running to seed.

Thanks in advance for visits, favs and/or comments.. Have a great day all of you. :)
I missed playing with my dollies so much. I had a horrible cold last week and between that and school I didn't have time or the energy for dolls. Today, the sun came out for a brief moment and I took the opportunity to shoot some impromptu pictures of Io .
Could you imagine if there were more than one Io ? Like if she had a whole bunch of identical sisters back in her home planet? This photoshoot made me think about that.
But in reality, she only has a twin brother who I hope to make into a doll someday.
Reflections of the evening light on plastic sheeting winterizing a window. I love the visual complexity of the pareidolia drama unfolding in this image (especially the cyborg in the center), its nicely balanced composition of thirds, and the painterly colour palette of muted mauve, blues, browns, and subtle golden halations. An image worth lingering over when seen full screen.

A reflection process.
I'll be a little bit absent these days; "a time of reflection"
Have a great week.

Reflections on a calm morning at Jackson Lake.
What attracted me to this scene, apart from the mirror-like quality of the water, is the burst of orange in the middle of the frame.

Reflections of the sun on Central Plaza. Photo taken using a Lee Filter's Big Stopper which allowed a 20 second exposure

I’ve bought a little M43 camera to use in those situations where dragging a DSLR and several lenses along doesn’t work that well. Yesterday I took it for a little test in downtown Oslo. The water had been shut off in one of the fountains near the National Theatre and it had lots of little puddles with different kind of reflections, so I decided to play around with that.
having a little snack while enjoying the last german sunset before heading to the Netherlands tomorrow!

And remember what it felt like
To be alone
Sitting in the sunlight
All alone

The tail end of a KC-10 tanker, as seen in my visor. You can barely make out Fezzik and Turbo's jet on the left side of the reflection, i.e. my right.

When we think of the sky, we tend to look up,
but the sky actually begins at the earth.”
