Looking from Fischunkelalm on Lake Obersee in the Berchtesgaden National Park towards the Watzmann (2713 m).
I said earlier we'd zoom in and out on the bridge and the figures Daniel Herbert carved on it. It is a wonderful work of art, first and foremost. But in that art is explosive political comment on the social injustices of the time. That is what most of our attention has been in the previous three photographs I've uploaded today.
But for now, lets enjoy the Ross Bridge in all its glory as reflected in the Macquarie River.
