This water feature was formerly part of the New River, created 400 years ago as London's first formal water supply. The New River is still part of London's water supply but now ends a few hundred metres NW of here; this section is closed off at either end as an ornamental pond.

Standing on a little bridge on Romney Marsh looking down at the water there was this little group of water lillies set against the reflection of the sky that made me think of Monet.

Reflections in St. Paul

Reflections in glass, through a “Blaze” of monochrome, mirrors the supporting trinity that hold aloft a spiritual light of awakening in one’s life: the holy trinity and/or the Buddha, Dharma and Sangha.

“The mystery of life isn’t a problem to solve… But a mystery to experience… A process that cannot be understood by stopping it. We must move with the flow of the process… We must join it… We must flow with it.”

2019P52 - Week 52: Your Style - My favorite styles are macro, reflections, and black backgrounds. I got all three!

Bare tree branches reflected in a glass block window in Dartmouth. I love the electric play of light and reflections happening in each glass block, and the layered presence of the highlights on the glass blocks that intermingle with the off-set tree branch reflections in the top half of the image. Reflections are so visually engaging.

Your set up waiting for the sun to set, then you turn around and see a possible shot, something a bit different, not your usual from this venue but i quite like it.
