Week 6: reflection, abstract
I had more difficulty getting this idea from my brain through photoshop than I thought would be the case. It isn't exactly as I had envisioned it when I started out but I do like the final results of where toying in photoshop landed me. It was cool to create.
odc - swirl, hss!
No, it's not gratuitous use of the Flood filter, there was plenty of lake in front of this temple; I simply rotated the scene 180 in Photoshop (plus a few other tweaks, of course).
Taken today: Wat Chalerm Prakiat. Nonthaburi.
Apologies, my ISP problems have resurfaced, hence no post and no visits to your images yesterday / today (I'm briefly in the office to post this).
While driving through the town of Portage, Wisconsin, this park would always be a favorite of mine. One day, I finally stopped to take some pics. This was one of my favorites. Hope you enjoy!

Port Coquitlam/Pitt Meadows, BC Canada
View of the reflections across the river in Pitt Meadows and views of the ice floating down the Pitt River from Traboulay Poco Trail, which is located in Port Coquitlam, BC Canada
The Poco Traboulay Trail is one of the most popular rides in Metro Vancouver. It’s flat, off road and scenic … the perfect combo for a great day. The trail circles Port Coquitlam weaving through parks and on the dykes of three rivers: Coquitlam, Pitt and Fraser. The Poco Trail is a great cycling trail and hiking trail.

Scottsdale's Reflection Rising is designed by Patrick Shearn. Shearn's worldwide installations compel viewers to slow down and follow the undulating movement of the artwork, which appears to hand in thin air.
Stretching for three football fields along the Scottsdale Waterfront, “Reflection Rising” is the latest large-scale project commissioned by Scottsdale Public Art. Made of thousands of nylon streamers designed to take the air like a kite.
From the surrounding walkways, views of the rippling sculpture will emerge in the reflective surface of the canal, evoking the colors of the sunset. At the Soleri Bridge Plaza, the piece will rise and fall in graceful waves, casting dappled shade and sunlight on those gathered below. The custom-designed work was installed Nov. 13 and will soar above the waterfront, illuminating much of the Arizona Canal through March 2018.
The reflection of autumn oak leaves, tree branches and the blue sky on the undulating surface of the river.
Beautiful reflection in Browns Lake Washington. I took this photo on a Sunday evening while I sat on the bank in the sunshine watching the birds, fishermen, and simply waiting for the night to come. It was so peaceful and pleasant.
At this point the thunder was getting quite a bit louder so I only had time for 20 or 30 more shots (think I might be exaggerating? Ask Mrs M) . We might have to go back on a better day for better pictures.

A reflection in the luggage rack that I saw whilst on the train down. It was one of GNER's converted Eurostars if it interests you - the ones that don't have onboard Wifi :(
Done for the group Macro Mondays. Theme for Monday, June 15: Reflections.
This is one of my full geocache logsheets that I have changed out. I thought the curves, lines, and textures made for an interesting macro, and reflected makes it that times two. :) Happy Macro Monday!

Early morning reflections at Burrator reservoir after the rain had cleared. The sun was generating some lovely surface mist on the water. Thanks for looking :-)
