I drive past this lake often and always find the electricity tower reflecting in the lake strangely alluring and frighting at the same time.
In the quiet of the morning, you can hear the gentle humming of the electricity, soothing like a nightmarish lullaby.
Last year at the beginning of March there was a longer period of rain in our region, which led to flooding in a number of meadows and fields. "Armed" with high rubber boots, there were new photo opportunities, here between 2 rain showers.

A week spent in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem always leads to great images a few of which are unexpected. This bull Bison caused a traffic jam (Bison-Jam to those of us who frequent the park). He had a giant ball of Sage wrapped in his horns and basically just stood in the middle of the road obstructing traffic. The I finally go to the front of the line to go around him I leaned out the window and took his picture as I rolled by. His face filled the frame, and if you look closely you'll see my truck in the reflection of his eye.
Stranded on the beach at Berrow, just along from Somerset’s Burnham on Sea, lies the weathered remains of the SS Nornen, a Norwegian barque which ran aground in 1897 after being caught in a gale in the Bristol Channel.
Only visible when the tide goes out, its pretty amazing there is this much of the boat still in one piece after so many years of being totally submerged for large parts of each and every day.
Driving from Calgary to Kananaskis was a big pleasure enjoying the wonderful views. Really love the road trip through the mountains, pleased by the wildlife, lakes and forest. The photo was taken on the backyards of the camping sites. The Kananaskis lake walks were great with awesome views of the lakes from the forests. It is always said “Canadian contributed the Banff and Jasper National Parks to the world, but kept the Kananaskis park for ourselves”. Kananaskis park is a provincial park, not as famous as Banff and Jasper. But there is comparable Rocky Mountains and lakes.
The Palacio de Generalife was the summer palace and country estate of the Nasrid rulers of the Emirate of Granada in Al-Andalus, now beside the city of Granada in the autonomous community of Andalusia, Spain. The palace and gardens were built during the reign of Muhammed II (1273-1302), Sultan of Granada, and later by Muhammed III (1302–1309). They were redecorated shortly after by Abu I-Walid Isma'il (1313–1324).
Before the time of jarring illuminations is over, I want to show You the rest of the images I made at my visit at the christmas garden in the park of Pillnitz castle. This here is the chinese pavilion. At the lake You see swimming illuminated stars. Because of the perpective they are not seen very well, but I love the mystical mood and the reflection in the water.

At the beginning of this week, I want to introduce You again to the park of Hermsdorf Castle. Everywhere are little waterstreams traversing the forest, reflecting the trees and flowers on their banks. We are almost alone here and it’s an unbelievable peaceful atmosphere. A great place to let fade away the day.
And while the last evening sun is creating little islands of light here and there on the forest ground, we are, relaxed and recovered, starting our way back home.

A moody autumn day on Derwent Water with Cat Bells reflected in the crystal waters - The Lake District National Park
Scoresby Sund, Greenland.
Almost perfectly still fjord reflects sunset light. I was fascinated by the reflections of evening colors in the water ripples and how they constantly moved to create surreal picture.

Here is the sixth landscape image in this run of eight that I've not previously posted. I've put quite a few onto my image website from this location, but not this particular one. This is the old boathouse on the northern shores of Ullswater in Cumbria.
Thanks for looking folks.
