Autumn in Melbourne is always beautiful, with many wonderful deciduous trees full of colour and ornamental vines like this one, but you have to be quick to catch the latter for the red tones of the season come on very quickly, and just as quickly the leaves are gone.
Melbourne has experienced a wonderful Indian summer this year, and as a result, not only are there still plenty of beautiful blooms about, but the Autumnal colours are starting to appear.
These beautiful ornamental red vines highlighted by the sun were captured on a recent trip to the Alpine region of Victoria. Stopping for luncheon at the Milawa Cheese Company, I was able to enjoy a delicious array of cheeses on a tasting platter whilst surrounded by these beautiful vines as I sat in the courtyard.
Milawa is a little town in the King Valley. It serves as a hub for the Milawa Gourmet Region which has a wide range of local produce for sale. This includes cheese. The Milawa Cheese Factory offers a wonderful range of local cheeses. It has cheese and wine tasting, has a bakery, a restaurant, an ice creamery and an art gallery. All of it is set in lush grounds surrounded by deciduous trees and ornamental vines that change colour in the autumnal months, creating a wonderful display to enjoy your luncheon amidst.

Love the colours you can find at this time of the year, this one taken in the Dyfi forest this morning.
The things we find,
the things we see,
beauty in Autumn,
is always extraordinary.

Have a great day...
Loving these Winter reds in our neighbourhood! It seems no one told them it's no longer Autumn and I am very happy about that!
