I visited Trollstigen in 2016 as well, in sunlight... But it wasn't chopped liver in the fog either. I drove up it slowly and blissfully, blasting the "King Arthur: Legend of the sword" soundtrack, which suited the mood in the dramatic landscape of dark, wet rocks. :q
One of my travel plans involves:
- Taking a train from Gothenburg to Åndalsnes, near Trollstigen
- Renting a car and driving to a campground between Trollstigen and the scenic town of Geiranger
- Renting a tiny cabin at the campground for a couple of weeks
- Hanging out by the 2nd most beautiful river ever (?), which flows past the campground
- Driving to (and down and up) Trollstigen, then going to the viewing platform (etc) and feasting my eyes on the valley for hours
- Driving to Geiranger and feasting my eyes on its surroundings for hours
- "Swimming" in the aforementioned river
- Going for day hikes, if I can find any trails for non-elite hikers :B

Diamond Beach is an interesting place to see. Ice fragments of the Jökulsárlón glacier wash up on the beach in various shapes.
The coastline is tricky though as sudden waves can surprise you. While making this self portrait, the sea sneaked up on me and I got my feet wet.

Rainy, muddy, day that included several slips and falls. My arse and back still hurt.
Captured during the historic floods of February 2026 in Trentemoult, this image depicts the sheer scale of the rising Loire. The water has reached the edge of the quay, nearly swallowing the promenade where a young witness stands in silent observation.

Did a photo-shoot in this colourful outfit a couple of weeks ago.. I love how the dress matches the background! Almost blending in, right? 😉
Anyway, later that day.. my dance teacher saw these photos on the camera.. and said that she would like to edit a couple of them since she loves playing around in Photoshop. Now, I never do that.. just a bit of Lightroom.. that's it.
But I figured, why not.. and this is what she sent me. What do you think? Too much or not?

I do try to add a little bit of colour.. sometimes a belt, sometimes a bag. This time, it was time for the jacket to provide the red pop!

Over the last couple of weeks/months, I haven't been outside doing Tassia stuff that often. Of course, for me.. it also doesn't help that it's winter. I love snow, but really.. I'm the kind of person that lights up when spring starts knocking on my door. So, I decided to prepare myself for that inevitable glorious moment by diving into my closet and test-driving some outfits. :)
Y'all know I love dresses and skirts, but I'm just as much a fan of jeans. These ones were 10 euros from Berschka and they fit perfectly if I may say so myself. And I love colours that stand out.. so this fire truck red leather jacket was a no-brainer!
The heels I'm wearing here are not for hours of shopping, but for a casual Friday at work or a lunch date.. I'd pick these babies. :)

When I saw the first pictures of this unusual bell tower emerging from the water a few years ago, I was immediately fascinated by this place.
Later, the Netflix series appeared, which I found very entertaining and which rekindled my interest in this spot.
So we decided spontaneously to travel to the Vinschgau in April, with the main goal of visiting the old bell tower of Curon (today Graun in the Vinschgau).
In the end, we were at Lake Reschen three times to capture the tower as atmospherically as possible.
This photo was taken on the third and last evening, and I think it perfectly captures the mystique of this place through the light and the atmosphere.

Als ich vor einigen Jahren die ersten Bilder von diesem ungewöhnlichen Glockenturm sah, der aus dem Wasser aufragt, war ich sofort fasziniert von diesem Ort.
Später erschien die Netflix-Serie, die ich sehr unterhaltsam fand und die das Interesse an diesem Platz neu entfacht hat.
Wir entschieden uns also spontan, im April ins Vinschgau zu reisen, mit dem Hauptziel, den alten Glockenturm von Curon (heute Graun im Vinschgau) zu besuchen.
Letztendlich waren wir dreimal am Reschensee, um den Turm so atmosphärisch wie möglich einzufangen.
Dieses Foto wurde am dritten und letzten Abend gemacht, und ich denke, es fängt durch das Licht und die Atmosphäre die Mystik dieses Ortes perfekt ein.

It's super cold.. so for this outfit, I went with a red jacket, some grey skinny jeans and these gorgeous black leather over-the-knee boots from Buffalo. Seriously, they may be 5 inches high.. but these are one of the most comfy boots I own!
So, what do you think of those boots? Too much with this outfit or does this work with the grey jeans and red jacket?

My son had found this seat amongst the red Begonias, his little boy ran towards him, picked up one of the fallen flowers and offered it to his dad, a very tender moment... Not something you can set-up!

A couple of weeks ago, I went to visit a region near Amsterdam called 'de Zaanse Schans' together with my good friend Bianca. It's a super beautiful place.. especially on a sunny day.. filled with windmills, old industry, museums.. and lots of tourists! :)
There are many photos on my blog.. and of course, I posted a video on my YouTube channel, but I really love this particular photo. Basically, it's me preparing to pose.. but it almost looks like this was the pose itself! :P

My remote refuses to work when it's too cold, and I had to run back and forth to the camera to press the self timer.
It felt like spring today. Not the temperature, but the mood. This is gonna be a looong winter.. :p
This modern-rig staysail schooner came in 3rd in the Wooden Boat Festival schooner race in Port Townsend. The 72 ft schooner Red Jacket was built as a private yacht in 1920 at the Blanchard Boat Company on Lake Union. Named “Katedna”, he went on a five-year sojourn in the South Sea Islands. Returning to Seattle in 1931 she was renamed Red Jacket after a local Indian chief. She later burned and sank in Lake Washington. Her owner could see the flames from his home, and shot the hull full of holes with his large bore elephant safari gun until she sank, leaving just the top of her mast burning. She was rebuilt her in cedar, oak, teak and spruce and then sold to the commodore of the Seattle Yacht Club. In World War II she was painted gray and worked as a naval sub snooper out of Friday Harbor. After the war she returned to racing in the Swiftsure series.
