A second shot from this mornings dawn shoot - very very different in mood, and conveys a more desolate place. Not a huge fan of this shot, but decided to post as it just shows how differently the same scene can be captured..... does the camera lie ?!

A multi-storey carpark at the Australian National University.

Today's card features Art Impressions 'Harvest Together' set. Colored with Copics and die cut the adorable scarecrow. I die cut a cream panel with Unity Stamps scallop stitched rectangle and then used aged mahogany ink with the Tim Holtz burlap stencil. I then added the scarecrow and stamped the sentiment (Sweet n Sassy 'Grateful Heart') with VOB ink & clear embossed. I added the panel to a kraft A2 card base. I die cut a ochre yellow bow (I.O.) for the scarecrow and die cut a few burnt orange hearts (Whimsy Stamps set) & adhered.

How many squares and rectangles can you see in this image? (detail from 1625 Shattuck in Berkeley, CA)

I managed to mix up two rolls of Legacy Pro 400, one of which I'd shot at 400 and the other at 1600, and ended up developing them both as though they were shot at 400.

From Fort Leaton State Park Historical site outside Presidio, Texas on the Texas-Mexico border.

Cavalry were stationed here to keep out the Indian raiders, Poncho Villa, etc. Must have been some fun. Hot, dusty, no tv, no radio, lots of snakes (rattlers, of varied deadliness) and scorpions of king-sized proportions.
