A rectangular version of the Ocean Plait mat. Same pattern, just laid out in a rectangle. Around 24m of 6mm Manila and Sisal to make this 30cm by 35cm mat. Perfect size for a table place mat
Some of my color combos are a little strong, but I keep telling myself it won't matter when there is 100. 35/100
Another pic I shot from my truck waiting for the light to turn green. I just liked how everything lined up, and decided to snap a pic. Also, this picture contains a bunch of rectangles. Count em all!

While rustling these shapes into the frame, someone in a passing car yelled out, "There's nothing to see."
"I see colorful, nonexistent rectangles."

uwagi: Bardzo fajny motyw kwiatowy. Najbardziej podoba mi się tył tessellacji, ale przód również jest niesamowity. Bardzo spodobało mi się robienie tej tessellacji i czuję, że jeszcze kiedyś może ją złożę

Plaid, plaid, plaid, and more plaid. Can't get enough. I love the way this loom takes a simple skein of yarn and creates such patterns.
the labels created with loomtack (printed directly onto the loomtack); used the lovey designs (inkbits)
I think this benefitted becoming a multi-image because of the context of how small and relevant the situation was in terms of multiple hands. Not only did I, myself have to continually rearrange my hands to contain the toad, but so did my friend as she helped me take pictures. This also simulates what the toad must have felt, as it seemed like a never-ending wave of hands. holding them as it hopped from hand to hand.
Technique was having an extra set of hands contain the subject as i held and worked the camera. taking many photos as we stumbled with the moving subject.
I love nature and i'm happy to see it in a new arrangement that captures the excitement and fun of handling it.
