Twirling my dress and petticoats - and just revelling in feeling ultra-feminine - during a recent photo-shoot. This is another sight of the dress I was planning to wear for Ladies Day at Royal Ascot this year....
We are still in lockdown here at Lyndon Towers, with my hubby being kept out of mischief chiefly by being put to work on the latest issues of "Streetwalker" and "Snooty Bra-Busters" magazines. I have been re-reading "Finnegans Wake" and watching 1940s movies to pass the time - as well as sharing the boudoir couch with my very butch housekeeper, Mrs Danvers. I almost wish my former lover Seth Melling was still around - the handsome young man who used to be my hubby's gamekeeper. Seth lived in a little cottage at the edge of our state, which made our regular afternoon rendezvous very easy and convenient for me…!

Been a minute since I’ve shared on here. I’ve been busy workin on the railroad and don’t have a big slot to photograph anymore.
Just a few things I've found recently. I don't do searches in the summer, but I'll stop for a cap if it catches my attention. That bolt-on Hyundai Sonata is definitely the most interesting of this lot. I've never found one before, and this one is in excellent condition. I guess someone installed it wrong by pushing it over the lugs.
I missed out on a new 2017 Corolla cap recently...I saw it in a tight spot on a highway entrance, and I didn't have time to go back for it until about a week later. By then it had been run over and scrapped. I'm sure another one will come along.
I found a few more old search pics from around 2001...does anyone want to see them? I'll warn you that the photo quality is very poor, because they were taken with an old 1-megapixel camera back in the day.
I'm trying to find the time to post the photos for my two story lines. So far, I haven't found it. One was before vacation, & the other is from the camping trip. I'm hoping by the weekend I will find some time!!!

Kids couldn't take their eyes off of him. Even the Faire comedian made him part of his act! It was a Blast!!!!!
Lower right: I threw this picture in just to show this guys size! He makes me look like a waif and I'm not!! I'm 5'1", but this guy from the Jousting Tournament was HUGE!!!!!

Last of my recent Kingfisher shots and probably my favourite. Not an artificial perch but a bush on the edge of the lake some distance out. The background is a long way behind this so no detail there, especially with the 2x Extender enhancing the Bokeh. Luckily the branch is exactly perpendicular with the hide.
The favourite perch for this juvenile female to fish from as the water is a bit deeper and there is a clear view of the fish below. This is the top part of the branch shown in my earlier 'regurgitation' shot.

Many film productions have been made in Charlestown. With its harbour still working and the heritage the port holds, it makes a perfect setting for many period and costume dramas, war sagas and love stories. The grade II listed harbour has long wharves and high walls making it particularly suited for dressing as a backdrop for films old and new. The view out to sea from the harbour, is unspoilt so there is no need for concern regarding heavy traffic.

During our recent trip to the Alsace region, we decided to visit Colmar on a rainy day when hiking wasn’t possible. Fortunately, the rain was very limited, allowing us to enjoy our short stay. Colmar is renowned for its well-preserved old town. Its labyrinth of cobblestone streets, lined with colorful half-timbered houses and a network of canals, has earned it the nickname "Little Venice." It's no surprise that this area is one of Colmar’s most photographed spots. While exploring this charming town, we also sampled the unique Alsatian cuisine, a delightful blend of French and German culinary traditions. We tried tarte flambée (flammekueche) and choucroute garnie (sauerkraut with sausages and meats). The flavours were delicious, though perhaps not something for everyday consumption – Colmar, Alsace Region, France.
In recent times the Arriva North West, Cheshire depot of Winsford and associated outstation of Macclesfield have come under the common management of Arriva Buses Wales (Arriva Cymru). One result of this has seen the three VDL DB300, Wright Gemini 2 deckers (4489-91) new for the 38 Crewe to Macclesfield move over to North Wales and in the allocation at Rhyl to join the native examples 4479-88. Alexander Dennis, E400's on the select J-ABW plates have gone the other way in exchange.
4490 is found on a 51 Rhyl to Denbigh, unknown to me it was coming as the Arriva Cymru fleet was not tracking on Bustimes on this day so a nice surprise, more so as I had passed sister 4489 on a X51 heading up the Vale, 4491 was ironically on the next working, a 51B and X51, so they were running three in a row in the morning out of Rhyl and in fleet number order!

'What do we know about the two sisters and the dwarf?' I asked as we made our way through the tree tunnel.
Despite the network failure and crash of our flying car, it was a pleasant day with a light breeze rustling the branches. It would have been perfect for a walk had we not taken this assignment.
'Not much,' said Pistachio, adjusting his hat. 'The sisters moved to the cottage a few years ago. One is quite shy, and the other outgoing and chatty.'
'The complete opposites of each other,' said Labneh.
'Yes, in a way. They squabble sometimes, but then all siblings squabble at times,' Pistachio raised his brows as Cashew opened his mouth to say something witty. Cashew thought better of it and chose not to interrupt. 'They're supposedly of Camellia Fairy ancestry, but no one really knows for sure and we've not had a reason to investigate.'
'And the dwarf?' asked Acorn.
'Well, we don't have much on him either so far as I'm aware. But he likes to complain about just about everyone and everything. His complaints got worse since the Camellia sisters moved to his neighborhood.'
We passed through the tree tunnel and followed a path down towards the Great Pine. Rosebay willowherb seeds floated gently in the hot summer air, as the flowers wilted sorrowfully in the heat. Everywhere seemed to be wilting, with barely a wildflower in sight.
'Strange for the middle of summer,' I whispered, looking around.
A wasp chose that moment to buzz by my nose. I involuntary stepped back, almost bumping into Campion, before the wasp settled on a nearby ragwort flower.
I could swear the wasp was following us, but shook it out my mind and focused on the case. I glanced back every now and then. The wasp flew off the ragwort flowers and hovered over the seeding willowherb.
'Oh, hello. Are you our guide for today?' I asked the wasp.
I wasn't serious, and thought it might at least trigger a laugh or two, but to my surprise the wasp promptly left, vanishing in the overhead branches of the Great Pine.
'Ah, here we are. We may as well ask questions here first since we're closer,' said Pistachio, pointing towards the outline of a door in an ivy covered tree stump. He turned to me. 'Over to you, Hazel. You have point on this one.'
I tapped on the door. There was no answer. The tree stump and surrounding woodland remained quiet.
'Bang harder,' Cashew stepped forward and banged on the door so hard the ivy rustled.
'Who is that banging on my door?' an angry voice yelled from inside. He actually said worse things, accompanied by a string of colorful metaphors.
'Special Agent Hazel Coyote of the Magical Forest Criminal Investigation Service. May we have a word?' I said.
It wasn't really a question, but I thought I'd at least try and be polite. I knew I wouldn't like it if someone banged on my front door like that.
I heard locks slide open, followed by the sound of the door opening. A little nose poked through a narrow space.
'Identification,' he said, gruffly.
I showed him my badge and ID. Labneh and Cashew did the same, though Cashew was struggling to keep a straight face. The others had stepped well back with Pistachio, knowing what to expect. I sighed. Sometimes I wondered who truly was the prankster of our team.
'Nice try. Obviously a fake badge and ID,' the voice the other side of the door grumbled.
He went to close the door so I shoved my paw in to stop it. 'I want to ask you a couple of questions, that's all,' I said. 'Regarding a recent incident.'
'It concerns your half brother Brownbeard,' said Cashew.
The door opened, just a little bit, allowing us to see the dwarf in the tree stump. His scraggly long beard swung like a pendulum across his chest.
'Nice beard,' said Cashew. 'Pity about your brother.'
'My brother. What about him?' the dwarf said, stroking his long beard.
'Then you haven't heard about the incident,' I said. 'His beard was cut off early this morning.'
'And you and your team have come to interrogate me, have you?' the dwarf growled. 'Let me offer you one piece of advice.'
He moved to slam the door in our faces.
'Firstly, try speaking to him and those two sisters. And secondly, watch the Dwarf Watch,' he said.
The door slammed with a bang like a shotgun.
'That was two pieces of advice!' Cashew shouted out before we left.
'The brother definitely knows more than he's letting on,' I said, joining the others on the path. I saw the confused look on Sunflower's face and explained. 'We never told him the two sisters were allegedly the culprits.'
'Brownbeard could have told his brother though,' said Sunflower.
'Maybe, but the brother was more bothered about us disturbing him. He showed no sympathy whatsoever. I know if something terrible happened to one of you, I'd be doing all I can to help,' I said.
'Yes, I agree the brother knows more than he's letting on,' said Pistachio, staring back up the hill. 'But it's that second warning of the Dwarf Watch that's got me.'
'Then we should go back there right now and drag that dwarf out and question him,' said Cashew.
'Leave him to us. We'll break that dwarf in seconds,' said Acorn, with Campion and Shishky.
'No no,' I said, stopping the three fox-keteers before they descended on the tree stump. 'I have a better idea.'
'A stakeout,' said Cashew. 'He's bound to step out that door sooner or later.'
'Exactly, and when he does . . . ' I began.
'We can follow him and see where he goes,' said Sunflower, clapping her paws together in glee.
'I bet he'll lead us to either the sisters or his brother or this Dwarf Watch,' said Campion.
'In other words, the perpetrators,' said Pistachio. 'Hazel, you believe as I do. That the incident with the two sisters and this sudden network outage is connected. And I don't think it's a coincidence we crash landed near the brother's home either.'
'But how did you get that? Brownbeard's brother is just annoyed,' said Sunflower.
'Didn't you see that beard?' Cashew chuckled. 'That looked too long to me. Like he had beard extensions.'
The tree stump door clicked open. We quickly ducked behind the rosebay willowherb as the brother stepped out. His long brown beard gleamed in the sun, and his red coat looked pristine.
'Now we follow him, and then question Brownbeard and the sisters,' I mouthed to the others.
We waited until the brother set off down the path, and made our move to follow.
But then something flickered in the corner of my eye. I turned, quickly, and saw a wasp jump off a leaf and fly up towards the treetops.
It seemed we were not the only ones investigating. The wasp was following us as we followed the brother.

Check out the rare Volkswagen Vanagon. It's in excellent condition and was a fresh fall-off. The Saturn Ion is also the nicest one I've found of that type, with all four lugs caps intact and no curb scrapes.

Miami Beach is a coastal resort city in Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States. It was incorporated on March 26, 1915. The municipality is located on natural and man-made barrier islands between the Atlantic Ocean and Biscayne Bay, the latter of which separates the Beach from the mainland city of Miami. The neighborhood of South Beach, comprising the southernmost 2.5 square miles (6.5 km2) of Miami Beach, along with downtown Miami and the Port of Miami, collectively form the commercial center of South Florida. Miami Beach's estimated population is 92,307 according to the most recent United States census estimates. Miami Beach is the 26th largest city in Florida based on official 2017 estimates from the US Census Bureau. It has been one of America's pre-eminent beach resorts since the early 20th century.
In 1979, Miami Beach's Art Deco Historic District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Art Deco District is the largest collection of Art Deco architecture in the world and comprises hundreds of hotels, apartments and other structures erected between 1923 and 1943. Mediterranean, Streamline Moderne and Art Deco are all represented in the District. The Historic District is bounded by the Atlantic Ocean on the East, Lenox Court on the West, 6th Street on the South and Dade Boulevard along the Collins Canal to the North. The movement to preserve the Art Deco District's architectural heritage was led by former interior designer Barbara Baer Capitman, who now has a street in the District named in her honor.
Miami Beach is governed by a ceremonial mayor and six commissioners. Although the mayor runs commission meetings, the mayor and all commissioners have equal voting power and are elected by popular election. The mayor serves for terms of two years with a term limit of three terms and commissioners serve for terms of four years and are limited to two terms. Commissioners are voted for citywide and every two years three commission seats are voted upon.
A city manager is responsible for administering governmental operations. An appointed city manager is responsible for administration of the city. The City Clerk and the City Attorney are also appointed officials.
In 1870, a father and son, Henry and Charles Lum, purchased the land for 75 cents an acre. The first structure to be built on this uninhabited oceanfront was the Biscayne House of Refuge, constructed in 1876 by the United States Life-Saving Service at approximately 72nd Street. Its purpose was to provide food, water, and a return to civilization for people who were shipwrecked. The next step in the development of the future Miami Beach was the planting of a coconut plantation along the shore in the 1880s by New Jersey entrepreneurs Ezra Osborn and Elnathan Field, but this was a failed venture. One of the investors in the project was agriculturist John S. Collins, who achieved success by buying out other partners and planting different crops, notably avocados, on the land that would later become Miami Beach. Meanwhile, across Biscayne Bay, the City of Miami was established in 1896 with the arrival of the railroad, and developed further as a port when the shipping channel of Government Cut was created in 1905, cutting off Fisher Island from the south end of the Miami Beach peninsula.
Collins' family members saw the potential in developing the beach as a resort. This effort got underway in the early years of the 20th century by the Collins/Pancoast family, the Lummus brothers (bankers from Miami), and Indianapolis entrepreneur Carl G. Fisher. Until then, the beach here was only the destination for day-trips by ferry from Miami, across the bay. By 1912, Collins and Pancoast were working together to clear the land, plant crops, supervise the construction of canals to get their avocado crop to market, and set up the Miami Beach Improvement Company. There were bath houses and food stands, but no hotel until Brown's Hotel was built in 1915 (still standing, at 112 Ocean Drive). Much of the interior land mass at that time was a tangled jungle of mangroves. Clearing it, deepening the channels and water bodies, and eliminating native growth almost everywhere in favor of landfill for development, was expensive. Once a 1600-acre, jungle-matted sand bar three miles out in the Atlantic, it grew to 2,800 acres when dredging and filling operations were completed.
With loans from the Lummus brothers, Collins had begun work on a 2½-mile-long wooden bridge, the world's longest wooden bridge at the time, to connect the island to the mainland. When funds ran dry and construction work stalled, Indianapolis millionaire and recent Miami transplant Fisher intervened, providing the financing needed to complete the bridge the following year in return for a land swap deal. That transaction kicked off the island's first real estate boom. Fisher helped by organizing an annual speed boat regatta, and by promoting Miami Beach as an Atlantic City-style playground and winter retreat for the wealthy. By 1915, Lummus, Collins, Pancoast, and Fisher were all living in mansions on the island, three hotels and two bath houses had been erected, an aquarium built, and an 18-hole golf course landscaped.
The Town of Miami Beach was chartered on March 26, 1915; it grew to become a City in 1917. Even after the town was incorporated in 1915 under the name of Miami Beach, many visitors thought of the beach strip as Alton Beach, indicating just how well Fisher had advertised his interests there. The Lummus property was called Ocean Beach, with only the Collins interests previously referred to as Miami Beach.
Carl Fisher was the main promoter of Miami Beach's development in the 1920s as the site for wealthy industrialists from the north and Midwest to and build their winter homes here. Many other Northerners were targeted to vacation on the island. To accommodate the wealthy tourists, several grand hotels were built, among them: The Flamingo Hotel, The Fleetwood Hotel, The Floridian, The Nautilus, and the Roney Plaza Hotel. In the 1920s, Fisher and others created much of Miami Beach as landfill by dredging Biscayne Bay; this man-made territory includes Star, Palm, and Hibiscus Islands, the Sunset Islands, much of Normandy Isle, and all of the Venetian Islands except Belle Isle. The Miami Beach peninsula became an island in April 1925 when Haulover Cut was opened, connecting the ocean to the bay, north of present-day Bal Harbour. The great 1926 Miami hurricane put an end to this prosperous era of the Florida Boom, but in the 1930s Miami Beach still attracted tourists, and investors constructed the mostly small-scale, stucco hotels and rooming houses, for seasonal rental, that comprise much of the present "Art Deco" historic district.
Carl Fisher brought Steve Hannagan to Miami Beach in 1925 as his chief publicist. Hannagan set-up the Miami Beach News Bureau and notified news editors that they could "Print anything you want about Miami Beach; just make sure you get our name right." The News Bureau sent thousands of pictures of bathing beauties and press releases to columnists like Walter Winchell and Ed Sullivan. One of Hannagan's favorite venues was a billboard in Times Square, New York City, where he ran two taglines: "'It's always June in Miami Beach' and 'Miami Beach, Where Summer Spends the Winter.'"
Post–World War II economic expansion brought a wave of immigrants to South Florida from the Northern United States, which significantly increased the population in Miami Beach within a few decades. After Fidel Castro's rise to power in 1959, a wave of Cuban refugees entered South Florida and dramatically changed the demographic make-up of the area. In 2017, one study named zip code 33109 (Fisher Island, a 216-acre island located just south of Miami Beach), as having the 4th most expensive home sales and the highest average annual income ($2.5 million) in 2015.
South Beach (also known as SoBe, or simply the Beach), the area from Biscayne Street (also known as South Pointe Drive) one block south of 1st Street to about 23rd Street, is one of the more popular areas of Miami Beach. Although topless sunbathing by women has not been officially legalized, female toplessness is tolerated on South Beach and in a few hotel pools on Miami Beach. Before the TV show Miami Vice helped make the area popular, SoBe was under urban blight, with vacant buildings and a high crime rate. Today, it is considered one of the richest commercial areas on the beach, yet poverty and crime still remain in some places near the area.
Miami Beach, particularly Ocean Drive of what is now the Art Deco District, was also featured prominently in the 1983 feature film Scarface and the 1996 comedy The Birdcage.
The New World Symphony Orchestra is based in Miami Beach, under the direction of Michael Tilson Thomas.
Lincoln Road, running east-west parallel between 16th and 17th Streets, is a nationally known spot for outdoor dining and shopping and features galleries of well known designers, artists and photographers such as Romero Britto, Peter Lik, and Jonathan Adler. In 2015, the Miami Beach residents passed a law forbidding bicycling, rollerblading, skateboarding and other motorized vehicles on Lincoln Road during busy pedestrian hours between 9:00am and 2:00am.

A return to B7RLE repaints for the first time in around a year, 69357 now repainted into Aberdeen local livery having been unique in carrying Olympia livery but with the Platinum 19 branding around the destination area.
It returned to service following repaint on the 28th September and is seen here in Seaton on the 13 for Scatterburn.
Another E500 repaint, this time 38217 and notably the last bus in service to carry the Bridges brand now only survived by withdrawn 38223.

Iberia in recent years under IAG ownership has been the recipient of major aircraft investment; from narrow-bodies which includes new Airbus A320neos and very recently Airbus A321XLRs which they were the first airline to receive the type, whilst wide-body aircraft from Airbus A330s and Airbus A350s.
Mid-2018 was the year IAG began receiving Airbus A320neo aircraft for 3 of their airlines, these include British Airways, Iberia and Vueling in that order; whilst both British Airways and Iberia have their Airbus A320neos fitted with CFM International LEAP-1A engines, Vueling curiously went for Pratt & Whitney PW1000G engines. Aer Lingus would receive their first Airbus A320neos 4 years later by mid-2022 by virtue of not taken up examples originally destined for Russia.
For the Spanish flag-carrier, Iberia's Airbus A320neo fleet has become a little more varied and less straight forward; from mid-2018 to late-2023, Iberia's Airbus A320neos arrived brand new to the Spanish flag-carrier and haven't received any new examples since. In early-2025, Iberia has begun receiving the first of 3 Airbus A320neos to transfer from Vueling, the first since entering service and differs featuring Pratt & Whitney PW1000G engines instead of CFM International LEAP-1A engines.

Usei 2 camadas do 67 (Golden Rose) e duas também de Disco D'ouro (Risqué), mas tive que pescar as bolinhas, além do queridinho Roxinho (Colorama). O que acharam do resultado, meninas?
