My students at school were challenged to read and earn points using the Accelerated Reader program. If they earned it by Friday, February 15th then I would shave my hair into a Mohawk. For each week that the students had more than 1,000 points I would add on an extra day of the Mohawk - they earned a total of 3 extra days!

Digging Through History -- "Digging through History follows rabbi and archaeologist Richard Freund's journey through some of the most fascinating archaeological sites of human history—including the mysterious Atlantis, Qumran and the Dead Sea Scrolls, and the long-buried Holocaust camp Sobibor. Each chapter takes readers through a different archaeological site, showing what we can learn about past religious life and religious faith through the artifacts found there, as well as what has given each site such strong "staying power" over time" -- from www.amazon.com

Very interesting book and chock full of information...the author was extremely enthusiastic about his subject -- I never thought I'd describe a non-fiction book as gushing happiness but this one qualifies.
