MCABW Anniversary Luncheon Features Congressman Kevin Brady August 24
CONROE, TX -- July 21, 2010 -- U.S. Congressman Kevin Brady (R-Texas) will give the keynote speech at the Montgomery County Association of Business Women's (MCABW) fifth anniversary celebration and luncheon on August 24. The meeting will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday, August 24 at The Incredible Pizza Company. The restaurant is located at 230 South Loop 336 West in Conroe, Texas 77304.
âEver since Carol Gooch founded the MCABW, the group has been on a roll,â Rep. Brady said. âNot only does the organization continue to set the gold standard for how business networking is done in Montgomery County, they invest in future business leaders through a vibrant scholarship program. Their dedication to our community truly knows no bounds.â
âWe are thrilled to have Kevin Brady attend this milestone event,â said Stephanne Laviolette, MCABW executive secretary and treasurer. âHis presence says a lot about the growth and importance of our organization.â
The MCABW, which now has more than 300 members, provides a forum for local businesswomen to support each other â both in their professional and personal lives. The MCABW holds a networking luncheon the fourth Tuesday of every month, as well as a mixer the second Thursday of the month.

Had to pick this up, read that a card reader is much faster than transferring files from the camera.
Did some testing with it, definitely faster than transferring using the camera.

53 readers took part in the News of the World Read-Aloud on Thursday, Feb. 1 in the MST Atrium. All in all, 24 students and 29 faculty and staff brought the book to life for the nearly 120 people who dropped during the day to listen the readers.
