Google Reader has just gotten new search functionality. It also has a drop down menu so that you can refine your search to a group of feeds.

Included in every lesson, the reader's theatre encouraged role play and vocabulary enhancement. The children were responsible for their part in the play, practices their lines and helped design the props.

Writers & Readers: gatherings for everybody who loves language and ideas.
Wordly was an investigation of the structural and sometimes obsessive relationship writers have to language. Ammon Shea talked about reading the entire OED (all 22,000 pages of it!); Michael Erard read from Um... and from his new work on language superlearners.
Nothing's ever perfect, but the fit of the LEDs to the holes in the card reader is "perfect enough." I'm pleased.
Readers of my WordPress blog about my foray in photography will be well aware of the dismal experience I had the first night I tried to take pictures of the moon rising over Two Rivers, Wisconsin.
Even though I had to wait until well after midnight I think the results were well worth it. Not great pics, but a step in the right direction. Or so I hope!
