Delaware students celebrated Read Across America Day with a visit from some special guest readers! Corcoran alumnus and Destiny USA Director of Marketing Aiden McGuire, Destiny USA Graphic Designer Cassie Angerosa, Syracuse Parks Commissioner Lazarus Sims, and Kodak PR/Communications representative Eboni Britt all spent time reading to students.
Rock & Read: A family fundraiser was held Sunday, June 18, in the Capital Brewery Bier Garten. Guests enjoyed live music by Yid Vicious, as well as Sean Michael Dargan and the Mersey Brothers; autographs and photos with UW athletes; signup for Madison Public Library's Summer Reading Clubs; kids' crafts with Monroe Street Arts Center; burgers and hot dogs hot off the grill; Schoep’s ice cream; Capital beer; and a raffle of fun prizes. I got a Lalaloopsy called Specs-Reads-A-Lot. I love her and her little cappytiller! I also got a little sleeper for her. I got my sister one aso but I don't remember the name of it. Front of box photo.

Iowa State’s Arianna Jackson returned to her alma mater Perkins Elementary School to read Cy’s Perfect Day and to answer some questions about her basketball career to a group of excited kindergarteners on Friday, December 6th. The Roosevelt grad and current Iowa State sophomore donated a copy of the book to each DMPS elementary school before making a second stop at King Elementary School to spread some cyclone spirit.
