There was a lot of read noise to deal with using 30s frames (which added purple/green gradients to the image). I finally got an autoguider so next time I'll use 2 minute frames to drown the read noise in regular noise... which is supposed to be easier to calibrate out.

This local village scarecrow competition takes place in Sonning-on-Thames every two years and attracts hordes of visitors, who are asked to vote for their favourite. This straw dinosaur, entry number 23, was my favourite: the slogan reads "Sonning Speed Monitor - Do you think he straw us?" which I'm sure is a comment on the endless traffic that uses the village as a short cut.

I got a Lalaloopsy called Specs-Reads-A-Lot. I love her and her little cappytiller! I also got a little sleeper for her. I got my sister one aso but I don't remember the name of it. Front of box photo.
