Haven't had a lot of time for photography between designing sites, and setting up a podcasting studio. But this new mic I got in looked sweet, so I had to set up a quick shot. Not really happy with the composition (background was to small to get what I wanted), but I like the light.
Strobist info:
SB800 ; 1/8th power into an umbrella about 45 degrees left of camera, fired with pocket wizard.
SB600 ; 1/4 power snooted up high with a little smoke in the air is what caused the ray of light. fired as slave.
I think the camera was at f8.
Hell yes it is! I'm thinking that watching this lady prance around the silver screen in that outfit shooting at stuff will make this movie worth it for me, that and Ray Park playing Snake Eyes.
This is one of those "lenticular" cups where the image changes when you move it, it's DAMNED hard to get a pic of all the images on these things. But they are very neato. There is this one, and a Snake Eyes one, and a Duke (BLEEETCHT!) and a Storm Shadow one. What? No Destro cup? Curse you, 7-11!
Rays from a lovely golden sunrise coming through the branches of a tree in Strelley Village, Nottingham.
A 25.1 kilowatt ground-mount grid-tied photovoltaic system installed for Ray Funke at his rice growing and drying facility in Willows, CA. The system features ProSolar GroundTrac racking, an array of 112 Sharp ND-224UC1 solar modules, and 3 SMA America "Sunny Boy" SB7000US inverters. On a PG&E time-of-use rate schedule, we hope to offset most of the yearly electricity expenses for the rice drying operations.
Wanted to see how Ray & Kay looked together.
I finally painted this back wall black so I could take better pics of my artwork on it. This is a little area I often work in just outside the studio.
It's been unseasonably warm all week, so I've been enjoying being outside a lot! I need to sweep the leaves...again!
