Ray Bolander Cedarburg Win

Ray Chapman was a baseball player who spent 8 years with the Cleveland Indians. His career was cut short on Aug 16, 1920. He was playing at the Polo Grounds in New York against the Yankees when he stepped up to bat aginst Yankees pitcher Carl Mays. Carls Mays through him a fast spitball upstairs that hit Chapman in the head. He was not wearing a batting helmet because it was not written that batters had to. The ball hit him in the head and bounced back towards the pitcher. The hit was sou loud that Mays thought it hit the bat so he picked up the ball and threw it to first. Chapman laid motionless on the ground. He would die 12 hours later in a New York hospital being the first and only baseball player to die from being hit by a pitch. In his memory, the players wore black bands with his name on it around their arm and would go on to win the Indians first World Series that year. After that year, Major League baseball banned the spitball and would later make it a rule that baseball players had to wear a batting helmet. This plaque was made shortly after that season. It was hung in League Park for many years until they moved to Cleveland Municipal Stadium where it was rehung. It now hangs on a wall by itself on the lower level of Heritage Park in center field at Progressive Field. Ray Chapman was inducted into the Indians Hall of Fame.

Ray-Ban is the word's best selling sunglasses brand for a good reason. They are designed to the highest standards and offer maximum UV protection whilst remaining one of the most stylish sunglasses brands available.

Ray-Ban has well over half a century of experience designing and making top quality sunglasses and this is reflected in the quality of the sunglasses available from their collection. With so many popular styles to choose from there is a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses to suit everyone's needs and individual tastes.

When you hear Ray-Ban, you may think of their technology packed lenses, or their frames which are designed to provide optimum comfort whatever the conditions but whatever springs to mind, one thing is for sure, you will certainly know the name.

As with all sunglasses it is important to choose a pair that will meet all your requirements and with Ray-Ban you are more than likely to find a pair which goes beyond your expectations. You only have to see a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses to realise how desirable they are and once you put them on you will not want to take them off!

Take a look around you on any sunny day and you'll be surprised when you see how many people have chosen to wear Ray-Ban sunglasses. This is for a good reason, Ray-Ban sunglasses are designed for almost everyone and will match your own personal style whatever you wear.

The Ray-Ban 2009 collection has left nothing to the imagination, contemporary designs as well as the rejuvenation of some of Ray-Ban's most famous styles means that 2009 really is the year for the Ray-Ban wearer.

Along with the classic Ray-Ban aviator, 2009 hosts the re-release of the 1952 Ray-Ban Wayfarer, the classic and most desirable sunglass ever created. Made to the same specification the original Wayfarer has returned.

The famous G-15 lenses were first developed for the US Navy to provide precision eyewear to their pilots. Once released to the general public a cult of technology sparked up amongst drivers, sports enthusiasts, outdoorsmen, pilots and even astronauts! To this day, they are regarded as ultra-premium lenses, providing optimal visual clarity, superior scratch resistance and 100% protection from harmful ultraviolet rays.
