Well what a great day Saturday was when this image of young Arty was EXPLORED. It's so nice to have any feedback and comments from Flickr users, but to have so many is absolutely fantastic, and I really appreciate the time everyone took to say nice things.

 

Arty is a 2-year old Jack Russell who lives with his owners and fellow Jack Russell, Pip, in Brighton. He's such a loveable soul, so innocent and loyal. His owner had told me the previous day of the most amazing sunrise on Brighton beach; such amazing colours and because of the full moon the tide was so far out it was half way down the Pier! So I thought i really must see this, so the next day I went out with them and I was not disappointed. The colours were astonishing and it was brilliant to be able to walk on so much sand. Pip and Arty, and my little Boo, had so much fun on the beach (even if they did wonder what we were doing up so early). Pip played with her ball, Boo followed us all around and Arty dug for stones, which you can see him doing here. I made a point of photographing him with the sunrise behind him and I used a Rayflash to light him. It's so much better than simply using the Flash gun because I find it gives a more even light. I was really pleased with this image and was thrilled to see it EXPLORED.

This is Wyatt, a 12-week old Brittany Spaniel. I was trying to catch the beautiful color of his eyes using a Ray Flash ring. I did not get the catch light I was hoping for but I pleased with it overall.
