ok so i'm really pissed off about how some people edit, i mean it's like they don't even try!!! LOOK EDITING ISN'T HARD!!!! YOU DON'T NEED A FANCY PROGRAM TO EDIT WELL, LEARN TO EDIT THERE ARE MILLIONS OF TUTORIALS ON YOUTUBE!!! USING THE PAINT BRUSH AND CHANGING THEIR HAIR COLOR WITH IT DOES NOT MEAN IT'S AN EDIT!!! IT MEAN'S IT IS CRAPPY!!!! the girl with the green hair... done with gimp! it's free and it's affective, the girl with black hair... I USED WITH FUCKING PAINT!!!!! YOU GET THAT WITH YOUR WINDOWS COMPUTER!!!! i mean sereously take some pride in your editing, don't just think it's good, yes you can be proud but there is always somthing that you can do better.... and i don't care if the girl with brown hair took you 20 hours... if it looks like that... YOU DIDN'T WORK LONG ENOUGH!!! have some originality and please don't be a mary sue either.... be your own person.... because a tube top is not sexy!!!! look at real clothes.... A TUBE TOP MAKES THE BOOBS LOOK SMALL OR JUST PLAIN SLUTTY!!!!! havn't you noticed that the sexiest outfits give people room to imagine? thank you and good night!

Walking around before a meeting, by complete chance saw this on the side of a building. B&W gives clearer lettering; couldn't move the tree.
The car was with my better half, so I went to work by bus.
Personally I love a good public transport system. No car to look after, beer is not an issue, it's green, it goes out of one's way.
Well, yesterday the bus was 25 min late, apparently due to an accident. Fine.
Today I went to the ATM beforehand. Presented the $20 note to the driver and --- would have been refused service if it hadn't been for a colleague of mine who was on the bus, and borrowed me the change. The driver seriously said I'd have to take the next bus 30 min later. And that on the first bus in the morning.
The reason? No change.
When I last checked, a $20 bill was legal tender and had to be accepted.
Now here is a machine that is commonplace elsewhere. It changes all sorts of bills into the required coins. Really convenient. The rude bus driver and his refusal are just unacceptable when one knows these machines.
Luckily I'm not being treated that way when driving, so there goes another potential public transport user.
The name of the bus company doesn't matter ... rumour has it that they all have rude drivers.
They could just give me some kind of cheque for the change. Anything but rudeness.

My second Chuck Palahniuk novel this year; my first one was Survivor and I loved it. In fact, this is only my second Palahniuck novel ever. He has an exciting and unique writing style that I'm totally into these days.
As a bonus, I found that I got a signed copy! How lucky of me :)
I warmly recommend Survivor and will post an opinion on Rant as soon as I'm done it.
okay, to sum up everything im about to explain in one sentence; demi has lost me as a fan.
i used to adore demi, i really did, she was always so sweet and yeah... basically i loved her.
after her and selena fell out, i still loved her, i decided i wasnt picking sides between them because i loved them both and we didnt know what happened, which is still true to this day.
she then started to annoy me with snide comments she made about selena, but then the ask taylor comment really pissed me off.
it was really immature and stupid. im sure selena could say those things to, like oh ask miley, or ask anna or whatever, but she doesnt.
even after that, i still liked demi, okay i didnt love her anymore, but i liked her. then recently the interview came out where she said she wasnt friends with selena because selena let her friends and family be mean to demi. this pushed me over the edge.
first off, demi is trying to act all innocent in this, when her friends are often mean about selena.
secondly, IF she was referring to taylor,she needs to remember that she was more than happy to hang around with taylor on jet ski's last summer.
thirdly, if she is referring to the twitter fight with selena's cousins brandon and priscilla, i think she need to remember that SHE started that with the coat-tail rider tweets and they were just defending selena.
so yeah, basically they are my reasons why i am no longer a fan of demi. i will always love her music, and there no doubt that she is very talented, but this new bitchy personality that she seems to have acquired. i do not like.
so thats basically it.
but remember, this is my opinion, so dont jump down my throat for it.
and this doesn't mean im going to start bashing demi left, right and centre because i wont.
its most likely i just wont mention her much anymore.

Seriously, Minnesota? We don't send electoral votes to the GOP since Nixon, but in the primary, you go for SANTORUM? Mr. "We're stewards of the earth, but that just means to use it to serve industrialized man, not nature..."?
A little background, Minnesota has very open voting, so practically anyone can walk in and participate in a primary for whatever party they want. Last election, I sincerely believe Republicans mobbed Democratic primaries to stick us with Dayton, hoping he'd lose the election. I can only hope Santorum with 45% is the result of Democrats monkeywrenching the system in a bit of fair-play-turnabout.
Oh, and by the way, politics is one of the few things that gets me going these days... this is fun for me, even though I get a bit apoplectic once in a while.

A knee jerk rant against adjusting clocks forward one hour in the spring and back one hour in the fall.
Spring forward, Fall back,that's the mnemonic for remembering which way to move the clocks on the days that everyone (except me I guess) agrees that the time should change. Actually, I'm not sure that is true, May-be everyone isn't burdened with Day Light Saving Time.
For certain, in the US of A we will all chuckle at the inept sleepy heads who charge into their jobs late on Monday because they were so out of touch that they missed the comments on TV and Radio all day Sunday. But (and here's the rant) what sense does it make to do this? I don't really mind changing all the clocks - as you might assume looking at the image, they need adjustment anyway. Why arbitrarily call 'now' Six A.M. when it was perfectly acceptable to call 24 hours ago Five A.M.?
The most credible explanation I've gotten is that we're supposed to benefit from more daylight during working hours. But who leaves the office because its getting dark? Who, in the office bases their decision to turn lights on or off on the time? In fact, aren't most of those nasty fluorescent office lights on hours before the work day (and hours after it) year round?
Actually a rant is probably longer and better reasoned, but I've said it and I'm glad. Just give me some warm milk and put me to bed. I'm sure I'll feel better after my nap. I know my real reason for whining is that I hate to get up early and for the next two weeks, until I get used to the new 6 A.M. I'll have to do just that.
I have posted this picture before but I need to vent so here goes.
I know the public perception of truck drivers is not very good. I saw a poll the other day that showed where we ranked right there with used car salesman and garbage men. Sad but true. People think we are all crack smoking pill poping nuts. I was told the other day that I take pills to stay awake at night and pills to sleep during the day. I had to laugh and walk off. What this person does not know is 2 weeks before he said that I had just taken a random drug test. One of several given at work each year.
If these people would take the time to get to know someone first they may like them. When I was married I was very lucky. The only money my wife and I owed anyone was for our house and two cars. Our kids college was paid for. My oldest daughter got her degree in nursing last year debt free. We have two more in college now and one in private high school debt free. We have sent all of these children ALL OVER THE WORLD. Places I will never get to go and we were happy to do it. A couple of years ago if the housing market had not gone to hell and we had sold our house we had been aproved to buy a mansion and the payments were going to be what I make a week.
I enjoy getting up and going to work each day. I am very proud of what I do. How many people can say that?!! Think about this. If tommrow all the drivers said to hell with it no work for a week. Where would you get your food. Clothes drinks ANYTHING?
So the next time you put a tag on someone because of what you THINK and not know get your head out of it.
I read about this controversy in the newspapers a couple of times but didn't know where the ter Horst house was actually located until I stumbled across it on one of my runs.
I don't remember what the problem was exactly, but man, he must have been pretty angry.

I feel like i have become so distant with my photography. Very rarely will i actually pick up my camera, and if i do I'm not happy with what i get out of it. I don't know what i want to see in my pictures anymore. It feels like there is no passion behind anything i do anymore. I feel like I'm in a rut and its one of the worst feelings. I've been thinking and i want to start a "365," I'm just afraid that between school and work that I won't have enough time to take any pictures. I'm not much of a writer at all, but i believe anyone reading this will get the jest. if you have any helpful advice i would love to hear it.

I've loved Miley since Hannah Montana first came out. And I still love her. So a lot of people think Miley is a whore. I will admit that her outfits when she performs are revealing. Personally, I don't think the way someone dresses can make them a slut/hoe/whore. If Miley was running around having sex with a million guys then yeah, she'd be a whore. But she isn't. She's had the same boyfriend for a long time. She's almost what..18? She can dress however she wants. Haters are getting ridiculous.

sure, she made a few mistakes. sorry that you seem to think you haven't. if you want a barbie doll, go to mattel. she's not a barbie. but she's REAL. when has she ever tried denying something that happened? never. not once. and it ticks me off that her haters try and say she's fake because she's not. let's look at where she began her career. disney, a place of fakes;
bella thorne; im sorry, she just seems fake to me. not her in general, but her and her whole show. did you notice how when hannah montana forever's final episode (not really the last episode, they continuosly update it with a bunch of, what i consider, oneshots. miley's first interview, miley's backlash, miley's family dealing with it, and the upcoming "movie vs. college.") but did you notice how right after the hannah montana finale went off air, shake it ups premiere was on air? not cool. not cool at all. hannah montana was something that just can't be thrown away like that.
selena gomez; iight, i think she's cool but i do think she's fake. no offence to her followers. when have you ever seen something wrong with this girl? never. while that should be great, i dont think so. come on, she said it herself, she's not gonna let something bad show about herself, she's going to keep it to herself. she's hiding things and that just screams FAKE to me.
disney; this one has to do with the whole shake it up-hannah montana thing, so let's skip it.
anyway, if you want a barbie doll, go to toys-r-us. sorry that she doesn't have long blonde hair, that's her alter ego, hannah montana. sorry that she doesn't have perfect crystal blue eyes. sorry that she doesn't have the most straight teeth. sorry that she feels more comfortable in less. sorry that she likes to dance the way she dances.
