This is the bullshit (rant, delirium, babble) of my imagination.
How many thousand more years can humans survive to occupy the earth? Earth evolves according to its destiny, thousands of times life exists and perishes. replace each other to fill life on earth.
We can't guess what life will be like after human civilization doesn't exist.
At the beginning of human life there was only good and bad. Then grow and form groups, then fill all sides of the world.Like a Rubik's with 4 colors together on each side.The industrial revolution was the beginning of a rubik's 4 color combination complementing each other and the story of the world growing rapidly.and every color has its own truth and becomes a trigger for discord on earth.

in his time there were teachings of good and evil. Like when humans first entered the earth. And there will be 2 great powers on earth. They fight each other and try to beatand the moon can be occupied by humans as a special place. It becomes the center of government to oversee the earth.

I just cannot enjoy this image. For some reason it doesn't sit right with me. We all know that people feed the birds at Thursley but some seem to take things a step too far.
Many were sitting waiting for birds to come down. A few bits of old branches strewn around for the bird to perch on. Much like any normal back garden bird table, except this time in an open area. Or similar to many RSPB bird hides where they have a feeding station. Nothing wrong if the wildlife is benefiting in my view.
On this occasion another chap joined those already gathered except he was far from happy with the way things were and wanted to setup his perches. Nothing was good enough for him, and it was obvious he was going to continue moaning until there was either a fight or everyone capitulated. The latter is what happened, probably out of politeness. Politeness for me was through gritted teeth. Not because he told us that it would be rude if we put up any shots we took of birds on HIS perches on social media. That isn't what annoyed me. It was the fact that he ripped branches off live trees for his own personal enjoyment. The branches were ripped off and screwed to his long metal spike positioned as he saw fit. To me it is just wrong to damage nature just for personal enjoyment.
The obviously dying leaves and flowers withering on the branch now just make me a little sad when I look at this image. From what I understand the same chap has bought caterpillars collected elsewhere in the past, that is here say but given his form is probably true.

The planet is burning up. Rain forests are being cut down for cattle ranching. Biblical storms and floods are becoming common. Billions upon billions of animals are raised (mostly in the most inhumane conditions imaginable) and slaughtered each year to satisfy an appetite for meat. The corporations spurred by greed have made gluttony a virtue for profit. And tell me over and over again, we're not on the eve of destruction.

i'm just going to rant. i'm processing my crap. feel free to skip and not try to comprehend my ramblings. ;o)
having a blah day emotionally. i hate that i know i'm not meant to be with someone. we are too different. want different lifestyles, and futures. but can't stop missing them. and i KNOW i can't be a good partner to anyone right now. i'm broke, living with my parents, going back to school for nursing in january... i just don't have anything to give. i'm depleted in the love department. i'm angry and bitter because of my past two relationships. both of those breakups affected me more than i care to admit. i feel completely broken. so i focus on work to get me through every day. i throw myself into my editing because it's better than going over all of the mistakes i've made the past two years. i'm tired of going in circles and repeating the same vicious cycle over and over and over. i'm lonely but being lonely is better than being in a relationship that doesn't fit. so i choose me. i need to not worry about relationships and dating and love until i'm living on my own with a degree and a career. :o/
MEH. okay. i think i've gotten it off my chest. i need to watch breaking bad and go to bed. i have a busy two days "off" ahead of me.

A sunset shot on a mobile phone might look good on said phone. But if I look at it on a screen, it looks worse than an impressionist painting. There's nothing I can do to undo that awful over-sharpness. And thank you. I have seen iPhone shots, it's always the same. I know a guy who works for Leica, and he seemed to have a better mobile phone (as far as photo quality goes), but it wasn't an iPhone. This sunset shot here is horrible. And I can only upload it as a post stamp (sizewise). If at all.
This is a perfect illustration of why I DONT do rail tours these days. This pair of 'Choppers' were heard departing Brentingby loop close to where the windmill is seen in the background of this photo, and were absolutely full chat passing me on the upward incline to Whissendine several minutes later. Without a single head bellowing out appreciating the ambience.
I just cannot see how any cranks on the train can enjoy themselves anymore when all they can do is sit at a table and press their faces up against some double glazed glass. My first experiences of bashing were travelling behind these EE type 1s on the jolly fisherman to Skeg in the early 90s. Back then a photo like this would have shown flailing limbs at every drop down window and some well warranted screaming and shouting hurled my way as the train passed.
I am well aware that times have changed (I spent 12 years as a Guard looking after people on trains) so my gripe isnt quite that you arent allowed to do this anymore. The gripe is that if you CANT do it anymore then surely it cant be fun to be on a tour can it? My bashing days have been behind me for some time now and as a lineside fotter I can still enjoy the thrash of these mighty machines as they make their way towards the camera. I even let a couple of flails out myself just waiting here listening to them!
Anyway I had to get that off my chest, rant over I can explain that this was 20132 and 20118 'Saltburn-by-the-Sea' hard at work through Wyfordby on 17th August 2024 with 1Z19 Derby to Doncaster Belmont, 69011 was on the rear

I know I rant about industrial quantities of Pheasants being released into our countryside (eg: www.flickr.com/photos/timmelling/25467656947/in/photolist) but Mark Avery has published a review paper on the subject in the journal British Birds, which has stirred me up again.
On his blog: markavery.info/2019/07/02/a-review-paper-in-british-birds/ Mark has published some selective quotes from the paper, some of which I have reproduced here:
Pheasants are naturalised in all European countries except Iceland. The European population, as measured in spring by national bird monitoring schemes, is around four million pairs of which c. 1.85 million (46%) are found in the UK.
Some 43 million Pheasants (almost all poults about nine weeks old, but with a very small proportion of adult birds from breeding stock) are released into the UK countryside in late summer (source GWCT 2018).
… if we had never seen a Common Pheasant in the UK, and a proposal was made to release 43 million medium-sized omnivorous birds into the countryside, would it be nodded through without murmur? I think not, because we would be concerned about the potential impacts. (Far) more paperwork is needed to release a few individuals of a native species such as the White-tailed Eagle into the UK than to release 43 million non-native Pheasants each year. I suggest that we would put plenty of barriers in the way of such a massive release of non-native birds into the countryside if the situation had not crept up on us. This illustrates the lack of regulation of shooting in the UK.
In response to a FOI request in 2014, Defra stated: ‘Defra has not assessed the impact of releasing pheasants or red-legged partridges on biodiversity and is not currently planning any research in this area due to other biodiversity research priorities’.

Pencil Sharpener Rant - Inkling on Moleskine, again
Yet another week passed seeing nonsense going on in certain poor company-wide execution. Poor logic, calculation and consideration (no those are not algorithms, at all) executed in the name of efficiency and ideal automation. Simply said, replacing human decision with formulae requires deep understanding and serious simulations *before* execution. Now is the stage when a lot more human intervention is required to fix certain poor logics.
Yes I'm a sharpener mining my my own business shaping the future in my own ways. Forcing some nonsense into me and I'll keep cranking until raging fume comes out because I refuse to play nice to nonsense. The day when I need protection is the day I lost my value as a sharpener, as blades are not meant to be protected, they are to shape.
Ok, enough self proclaimed heroism. This is just a quick sketch using Inkling on my Moleskine, graphically rant about my recent encounter with sick things. The drawing was exported to Photoshop using Sketch Manager and colored in a sloppy way. Enough to calm me down, call it a therapy.
Wacom Hong Kong is going to have a press conference on 28th Sep 2011 to announce Inkling officially. Since I'm a big fan of Inkling and still sort of a Moleskine fanatic while luckily being the stationery buyer of a retail chain, I'm arranging a promotion in October: Buy Inkling and get 20% off for Moleskine Sketchbook (large or small). This simulation of store display was done in 30 minutes while attending a presentation meeting. I'm very happy to be able to get support from both Wacom and Moleskine for such campaign in such a short time. It won't be a big hit, but at least it benefits certain stationery lovers who happen to love both Inkling and Moleskine. Let's see how it will turn out.

monday 1st february;
well, today you're not going to learn about what i did, you're going to get a rant. a good one (;
anyway, so today i went to college. as you know, my ex bestmate carl and i have fallen out, due to him not being a very good friend i s'pose. beside from that, we were meant to meet at break and he was going to give me my dads USB stick back (which i put music on for carl ages ago) and i was going to give him his shirt. i got a text from him at around 10am, saying he was going to leave my USB on show, outside my classroom, that he hates me and has done for ages and threatening to tell joe things which joe already knows...
with this, (which was quite funny) anna found my USB stick and gave it me later. carl said he didn't want his shirt back cause he would end up burning it anyway, (which is why soon on flickr, you're all going to get a video of me and joe burning it ourselves, woo) and yeah. basically it sounded like his slag of a girlfriend had told him to write it cause the last time i spoke to carl, he was up my arse etc (:
HAPPY TIMES ARE HERE though.
and i'm having nothing to do with any of them. what goes around comes around and when he comes crawling back to me, after she possibly cheats on him for the second time i think... i will just laugh in his face. life is fucking sweet :D
