AN INTERESTING LOOKING WATERFALL WHICH IS QUITE TALL BUT NARROW. THE WATERFALL IS FORMED OVER AN OLD GEOLOGICAL FAULT MAKING A LOVELY CASCADE.

Sunday has long been a day for family and I hope that you are as blessed as I am.
This image was from a School Student Council event this past fall that went around and raked leaves for homes in the neighborhood - focusing on elderly that are unable to do so.
Andy, at the district science fair yesterday, had his project - a study on the impact of shape on the efficiency of windmill blades - selected to participate in the state science fair competition.
Dan, who a few days ago had $45 to his name, remarked in the car upon picking him up that he only had $15 of his money left. I asked what he spent his money on and he replied that he had donated it to St. Baldricks - a foundation for the cure and support of children with cancer.
Allison, in the foreground of this image, does those little, unnoticed things every day that make so many other things possible.
It is Sunday, and like yesterday was and tomorrow will be, I am a very blessed man. I hope that you are blessed as well. Happy Sunday.
An Autumnal Scene on the shore of the Black Loch near Castle Kennedy - the ground is strewn with leaves. Taken in November, typically the height of the season's foliage back home.
Rake patterns at Pembroke. I don't usually dabble in black and white as I think it lends pretention to an image, but here it seems to work.
Taken from a kite with no more than a rubber band and a bead to trigger the shutter. Nice Idea, Simon, works a treat.
More images in my KAP set and more rake patterns to be added to the current ones
2nd most interesting (apparently) - top spot's already taken
Raking the millions of pine needles. The hubby made piles yesterday, so he did most of the work, and I am just shoveling them into the neighbor's bin since ours is full.
My little buddy took the photo.
Now I will go make a quiche and then re-acquaint myself with the elliptical.
This place is right along the parkway a little north of Mabry Mill. I've never gotten out of the car before here nor found the place very interesting, but fog and colors change everything. I went down the bank and hopped around the rocks taking photos of the colorful tree and water over the spillway. I used 3 exposures to get everything like I wanted. This was an extremely productive outing especially for being unplanned, and glad I got to see some fall with the heavy weather coming tonight that is likely to blast away much of it.
Investment Opportunity/Rake in the Profits
Our astute president supports a smart policy of forest management to eliminate wildfires. Rake the forests, he says.
In California alone there are 33 million acres of forestlands, over half controlled and managed by the federal government. This innovative policy will require putting our national production of rakes into hyperdrive. It is time to invest in rake companies NOW!!.
This message has been approved by Finland's President, Sauli Niinisto.
