I've got something to tell you
About my heart,
That you hold... ahum
If your down well there's someone there... ah ah
Don't you know... ahum
C'e qualcosa di me
Dentro me
Che non sai
Fino in fondo... ahum
C'e un giardino che mai
Forse mai
Troverai
Dove mi nascondo... ahum
Io sto con te
E non ti sento
You know what I want to say
After this love
After the rain
Ma che bel vento
Riempimi gli occhi
Curve nell'aria
D'oro e d'argento
Sono qui
Forse piu' in la
Forse gia qua
Se vai fino in fondo.
What do you think about me?
What do you think about me?
C'e qualcosa di me
Dentro te
Che non vuoi
Fino in fondo... ahum
Won't walk out
I want to stay
L'aria e celeste
Come non sei
After this love After this love
After the rain After this crying
Ma che bel vento Ma che bel tempo
Riempimi gli occhi Riempimi gli occhi
Curve nell'aria Gioia nel pianto
D'oro e d'argento D'oro e d'argento
Sono qui Io sono qui
Forse più in la Forse piu in la
Forse chissa Forse gia qua
Ma vai fino in fondo, ti prego vai fino in fondo... ahum.
(Zucchero - Ahum)

Rain
It was the night Rod Stewart played
And we were, were standing in the pouring rain
If I had known it was the last time I would see you again...
I would change everything...
I look through the broken glass I watch the storm go through mymind
There's so much I had to say I know the words I left behind
And now I'm caught in a daydream with nowhere to run and hide
The world rushes by me, it's leaving me here all alone
(I would change everything, but I can't do anything
I would give all that I have to know where you are)
I'll always carry you inside my heart and you
You'll never know how much I wonder where you are
I always knew that you would take a part of me away with you
And I never got to say good-bye
I look in the mirror now and all I see is yesterday
At night I hear your voice and it is calling out my name
And with every hour just hold on to what you can
They're lost in a moment and fading away in the night
(I would change everything, but I can't do anything
I would give all that I have just to know where you are)
...and I never..ever...said good-bye...
That night is just a memory
But I still feel you standing next to me
And when I think I hear your voice all I hear is the RAIN...

Going through old images from a different computer and forgot about this one. I can smell the warm rain and the sunshine... what... you can smell sunshine.

West of Cheyenne. Another one of my old hang outs. A little rain falling, a good wind blowing and clean, refreshing air.

This was our third day of our stay in Wanaka for the Anzac blipmeet, April 26, 2015, Central Otago in New Zealand. It rained all night and just kept raining all day but it was warm. The rain cleared in the evening.

"Poem by Persian poet: Sohrab Sepehri"
Umbrellas we should shut.
In the rain we should walk.
Thoughts, and recollections, should be carried in the rain.
With all the people of the town, in the rain we should walk.
A friend, in the rain we should call on.
Love, we should seek in the rain.
In the rain we should play.
In the rain we should write things, speak, plant lotuses.
Getting drenched from time to time,
Swimming in the pond of right now, is what life is.
The City of Bureau Junction ducks under the UP Peoria Sub at Sheffield as thunderstorms develop off to the east. While I was back here for roughly an hour or two I barely missed getting rained on from 4 separate storm cells.
like being awake inside
a dream, sounds muffled
and faraway, train wailing
in the distance, car beams
prowling wet streets, ocean
come from a thousand miles
to settle upon the city and
whoever has stopped
to stand in shadows under
an overhang as misty light
turns the street into an
Impressionistic scene
will paint into memory this
moment and marvel how fog
erases a life thought by fading
thought, as rain begins to fall
once more, so imperceptibly
soft as to not be real at all

Blind Melon - „No Rain“
www.youtube.com/watch?v=3qVPNONdF58
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain
I like watching the puddles gather rain
And all I can do
Is just pour some tea for two
And speak my point of view
But it′s not sane
It's not sane
I just want someone to say to me
Oh, oh, oh, oh
I′ll always be there when you wake, yeah, yeah
You know I'd like to keep my cheeks dry today, hey
So stay with me and I'll have it made (I′ll have it made)
And I don′t understand why I sleep all day
And I start to complain that there's no rain
And all I can do is read a book to stay awake
And it rips my life away, but it′s a great escape
Escape
Escape
Escape
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain
You don't like my point of view and I′m insane
It's not sane
It′s not sane
I just want someone to say to me
Oh, oh, oh, oh
I'll always be there when you wake, yeah, yeah
You know I'd like to keep my cheeks dry today, hey
So stay with me and I′ll have it made
I′ll have it made (I'll have it made)
And I′ll have it made (I'll have it made)
Oh no, no
You know we′re really gonna
Really gonna have it made
You know we'll have it made
(I′ll have it made)
(I'll have it made)
(I'll have it made)
(I′ll have it made)
With 100ish loads of Potash in tow the the 813 and 5093 dig in to get the cars moving and into the siding before they can pull a grain train from Malden. I would have to imagine the 813 was doing most of the work with its low speed lugging days of Ore trains on the DM&IR to later working the humps and pull down jobs at Kirk yard on the EJE.
these Irises are an early bloomer in our area and a very welcome sight , as you can see no snow here but lots of rain ..

RAIN.....
I'm not so much
lonely
as I am
tightly furled
a bit wrapped up
inside myself
listening to the steady staccato
of rain beat on the rooftops
and watching the languid drops
slide snail-slow down window panes
they drip
and puddle
in every parched place
and I am content
knowing
how spring showers
will nourish
a thirsty soul.

The sanctuary at Hastings Park was one of the many developments made between 1997 and 2001 in order to improve the facilities associated with the park. Within the sanctuary is a large pond surrounded by native plants and walkways. The sanctuary also supports many species of birds and small animals. The pond is stocked with rainbow trout that can be fished for off of a small dock at the northwest corner of the pond.
