Athelstaneford in East Lothian is said to be the driest village on mainland Scotland but even here it can rain heavily sometimes. The Van Hool coach is in adverisement livery for the Forth Belle pleasure boat. The red pantile roofs are commonly found in some areas of eastern England such as Norfolk and Kent but in Scotland they are also a common characteristic of rural buildings in East Lothian and Fife.

It was raining cats and dogs on Thursday, with flash rain coming down throughout the day. I wanted to get a few shots in but somehow everytime I was outside it dissappeared and the sun came out. I ended up capturing a flare shot instead.

I sat in the familiy boat, wating for the rain to stop. I had my camera with a 300mm lense and a tripod, and iPod :) I sat for about an hour waiting, the rain didn't stop, but at least I took some pictures..
