Heavy rain clouds descending on us at Mt. Baker. Every time I visit this amazing place I see it in a different way with different feelings ....it never gets old!
It's raining again......
View outside through a window with raindrops last night. Inside it was warm and dry, while catching up with old friends. We had a lovely time together and then you forget the weather conditions.

My rose 'A Whiter Shade of Pale' has graced our garden with another bloom before winter sets in. Photographed this morning in rain and heavily processed in PicMonkey Pro and Topaz Studio. I'm still not sure about the outcome ...

Osteospermum is a genus of flowering plants belonging to the Calenduleae, one of the smaller tribes of the sunflower/daisy family Asteraceae. They are known as the daisybushes or African daisies. It has been given several common names: African daisy, South African daisy, Cape daisy and blue-eyed daisy. Osteospermum used to belong to the genus Dimorphotheca, but only the annual species remain in that genus; the perennials belong to Osteospermum. Well, the one and only bud of the tree peony (see first comment box) has opened up! Not completely yet, I hope it will though, despite the rain. So far so good.
