This rainbow was amazing. There were two rainbows, one on top of the other and they both made a complete half-circle. Unfortunately I couldn't stand back far enough to get the whole thing.

And the light rays shooting from the center were odd, as the sun was setting behind us (we're facing East in this pic).

The Pods @ Southstack Coastal Retreat

Having a BBQ outside the pods and a rainbow appeared behind us. We'd had great weather all day walking around the cliffs. Just a spot of rain at the end of the day as we were setting up the BBQ so the Rainbow was a great photo opportunity!

I was looking through my archives when I found this image. I think it may be my only rainbow photo. Taken somewhere in southern Colorado.

I was at my father's house yesterday. Looked out the window and saw this. Grabbed his camera, went out on the balcony and took some shots.

A glorious rainbow forms in the spray at the base of Bridalveil Fall late in the afternoon. It is a delight to watch as the colors dance with the movement of the wind and water.

Yesterday's rainbow after the rain!

Well, that last rainbow shot I posted seems a tad boring now. The rainbow looked brighter so I went out again to get some more shots. The next thing I know I see a lightning bolt in the frame. So glad it made it to the sensor :)
