This is the wetland and marshes close to home and in the later afternoon and evening time its a great place for rainbows to appear when the weather is right
A double rainbow captured on western Dartmoor during a showery November afternoon. The bright green vehicle driving "through" the rainbow is a Moorland Fuel truck transporting heating oil to various isolated communities. Thanks for viewing.
We were on our way home when the weather got really intense. After a while the sun was so low that the light was kind of forced into a channel between the clouds in the sky and the wet ground. Starring out the windows of the car got us amazed to the point where we just had to get out and take a picture. We missed a lot of great shots because we were on a highway, but this particular scenery with the supernatural rainbow we captured in time.

This rainbow appeared in the skies as the sun was setting and Florida holds its collective breath, waiting for Hurricane Matthew to hit. May the rainbow be the hope for all those in the path of the storm!

“Walk on a rainbow trail; walk on a trail of song, and all about you will be beauty. There is a way out of every dark mist, over a rainbow trail.” ~ Robert Motherwell

Here is another view and close-up of a rainbow raining down on beautiful Arches National Park in Utah. There were a lot of photogs out on this Sunday. One guy had a huge L lens shooting all over the place... I had to yell at him to turn around to get this before it was gone. He did not even see it. We laughed and he thanked me. It was fun chasing this rainbow around the park to get different views of something incredible happening on the landscape. Put this place on your bucket list, well worth the fun and journey.

Superb double arc at sunrise. Even with the wide-angle lens I couldnt frame it all and the rain prevented multiple shots
Double rainbow. Do you think there will be a bag of gold at the end of each rainbow? Taken 'riding shotgun' through the passenger seat window, travelling down the m74. I was not driving.
