EXPLORED July 31, 2015
I like to get up early and walk before everyone else is awake. As soon as I shut the door and headed out, it started to pour, but in Kauai, rain only lasts a minute or two and out comes the sun. Sure enough that is what happened and I was rewarded with this rainbow.
This is a full circle rainbow on Quiraing in Isle of Skye. Unfortunately my lens wasn't wide enough to get the full circle
Socorro, New Mexico.
I was stuck in my car as a spring thunderstorm surrounded me. Suddenly the clouds opened up for just a moment and this rainbow appeared... and then disappeared.
So, like with a falling star, I made a wish... after taking this pic.

A rainbow above the Vincent Thomas Bridge at the World Cruise Center in San Pedro, CA in January 2018.
......Itās said that at the end of the rainbow, a leprechaun mines his gold from veins that pulse with a light no sun ever made. The treasure he extracts lies scattered carelessly across the blasted terrainātwisted stacks, half-melted coins, and small hills of raw gold pushed toward his ruined castle like offerings. The rutted, hidden track that leads to his crumbling keep winds through these mounds, half-swallowed by the shifting earth. He lives alone in the shadows, guarding his hoard with traps, whispers, and old, crawling curses. They say those who reach the rainbowās end never leave wholeāif they leave at all.
Shot in Winchelsea, E Sussex, the cows were guarding the pot of gold!

Torridon Rainbow
One from our trip a couple of weeks ago to Torridon, and a double rainbow nicely balanced with the birch tree, all set against the backdrop of the Torridon mountains.

There was a double rainbow this afternoon but the second one was very, very dull. This one was really bright though, i don't think i captured it properly i am not that good when it comes to rainbows.
I love how the maple trees in Canada all have such wonderful colours at this time of year.
This one was particularly beautiful because of that cutie little Junco in the branch.... I had to google what it was, although I'm pretty sure my cousin explained it at the time lol
All my autumn photos are taken either last year or previous years... I haven't even managed to charge my camera battery in weeks. That seriously needs to change!! :)
