Huge full rainbow appeared late afternoon whilst walking down by Poole Harbour at Sandbanks. Only had 16mm lens so had to resort to panoramic mode and cope with traffic.... Anyway, nice record of a full rainbow over Bournemouth

Some of my Flickr friends may have noticed I've been pretty sporadic about posting and commenting the last 2 years. The reason is that I was pursing a second bachelor's degree, in nursing. I graduated in May and found out this last Thursday that I passed the boards. So it seems fitting that a rainbow signify the end of this quest. But to the right is a second rainbow forming, reminding me that there is still work to do. Nursing school was just the beginning, and I look forward to the next chapter.

On my recce for compositions for sunsets, arriving on the first top the Beacon I get caught in a shower. I wander off path to the cairn as the shower passes over and glance over my shoulder, quick a rainbow. Sack off, camera out, change to wide angle, check the settings, try to find a composition, oh and dial in the polariser, nothing to it.
The Wendover Local is showered by a double rainbow as it arrives in Salt Lake City on Sept. 12, 2013.

A long day of rain and thunderstorms ended with a beautiful rainbow. I only wish I'd had more time to get a better shot
This morning at sunrise I was standing on the road that goes into our village of homes beholding a beautiful double rainbow enhanced by the approaching socked-in dark storm front. There was a heavy mist falling and blowing in my face, hence the raindrops on the lens. The timing of it all made for a beautiful scene, fleeting as it was!
