Three rack perimeters, brazed together and with a subset of the slats brazed in. The small rack is for the mlcm, and the slats are all brazed in (as is the (slightly canted forward :-() backstop) and the two larger ones are for Russell's Kogswell and the Murray Baja Experience! and they both need to have two crosswise slats in the middle, plus, of course, backstops.
The little Y-ish shaped thing by the small rack is the fork crown mount, which is Y shaped to fit around the linear pull brake on the mlcm.
This could only be Kaikoura – a stylised whale come bike rack. Hand held with high ISO and I didn’t know what to expect, or I’d have tried to get the DoF more under control. View On Black
Fish drying racks and a spray of rainbow from the Hurtigruten, as it was about to dock in Svolvær. From the archives.
I really wish motorists would stop jumping curbs onto sidewalks and damaging public property, like this bike rack and the parkway planter fencing.

When I was asked how I wanted the chops cooked, I replied, "As the chef prefers." Our sever said that would be medium rare, which is actually my preference. However, I thought they turned out just a shade more than that. But in any case, the three meaty chops were moist and had super lamb flavor.
The perfectly cooked vegetables were fabulous!
This is my rack. Behringer V-Amp and TC electronics G-major, in case you were interested. The bottom display says "You can hear the digital", an in-joke from the it.arti.musica.strumenti.chitarra usenet group.

so...a brief look into the "evolution of a land rover" set will show some roof-top camping. that camping was done on a "second" roof rack deck positioned above the primary rack and the space case. while i liked a lot of the aspects of roof-top camping, the use of a second level had several problematic aspects. not the least of which was adding a bit of weight way up on the center of gravity. soooooo, i am going to deck the primary rack and then design a system to move the space case out of the way. as opposed to hard mounting the space case and moving the deck whenever i want into the case.
here we go.

The shinyish, newish rack containing Interface's machines. The layout has changed since this photo was taken.
The information on the piece of paper taped to the top of the rack may be useful if you're an inept stalker who can't find my contact details anywhere else.
The bottom two machines are in fact not Interface machines at all, they're leftovers from when that cupboard was the Donald-and-ClikiFax cupboard.
Football and Ribs today! Woo hoo! New car shopping tomorrow... Boo. :-D
These were dry rubbed with Grillmates Sweet n' Sour rub and smoked over smoldering chunks of apple wood for 3 hours...yummy! :-D
My squarish rack, modified to be sold -- it's going on a bike with centerpulls, so it's another wraparound fork crown stay
These pics are from a 650B conversion that I did a few years back. There's a new thread on the Classic Rendezvous list server about these Mel Pinto tandems. Yes, they were actually made by Follis, and the geometry is correct for 650B wheel. They were fitted with 27" wheels for the US market.
I wanted to post this album to the thread, but I realized that I hadn't documented the building of the racks.
John Howe stopped by the office today to show me a nifty new rack made in Portland by Tad Bamford of TCB Racks. It's a very simple design that allows you to carry wheels on your race bike.
