I'm building a simple bike rack for interior storage (not secure for locking bikes up outside) out of a few simple pieces of wood and electrical conduit. The idea is that the curved ends have shelves bolted in from the the sides to form the frame, then there are two strips of wood with holes drilled into them the diameter of the conduit. These strips are stacked onto the vertical poles then nailed to the shelves from the inside. The conduit just floats in the center and there ends up only being a few simple cuts, 8 bolts and a few nails needed to fabricate the whole piece.

I'm going to consider adding a shallow backsplash to the shelves so parts and tools don't roll off the back.

Forrest brewed me a semi-clone of Mirror Pond Pale Ale. I helped him "rack" the beer, which means we siphoned the sedimenty proto-beer into a new container and added some more hops to it. We also sampled it as-is -- I think it's going to be pretty tasty when it's done!
