Bradley Hills ES (LEGO® Robotics) A rack and gear .... This kind of gearing is used to open "sliding" doors.
It took me way too long to build this but I am finally done. It is easily my favorite rack I have built.
At least Sue got to eat hers at home this time. The last one was ferried to the hospital in flasks - never as good.
Plate dumped on table - shot taken - eaten with the addition of creamed leeks (not very photogenic today)
Light from window, infill from reflection from box lid. Low-tech is okay for a busy Sunday.
The rack is intended for the latest generation KM fork with all the mountpoints, but all I had lying around was a first generation that didn't have any mountpoints. So I added mountpoints at the measured distances, then built the rack to fit them.
Yes, that is a G5 tower sitting in there sideways, we had to take off
the sides and scoot it across to get it in there.
It might be hard to tell from the photo, but this custom pot rack is massive! It is in a beautiful private residence in St. Louis.
A 9x9 rack for a bicycle that will eventually have riv-standard rack bosses, and which already has a caliper brake.
Not quite finished, despite appearances! I need to check it for squareness, braze on a couple of fork leg strut braces and a fender boss, and /then/ it will be done!

I needed one place to put all my spices, so I created this rack with recycled pallets!
PATTERNS is the topic for Thursday, June 23, 2001
The alternating pattern of the door knob coat rack I built for the office.
Steve Hoersten's 7th and 8th grade technology students at Rice Lake Middle School in Wisconsin recently completed these sturdy and attractive coat racks using coat hooks from D. Lawless Hardware. Always happy to contribute to a good cause, D. Lawless Hardware helped out by furnishing one of the two classes with free hooks!
· The Pacific Primary School in San Francisco put in these lovely bike-shaped bike racks.
(The smiley sun face is a school logo.) More photos and info here.
Custom Sportour rack for RG. Designed to fit all his fly gear on the weekends and his photo rig during the week. Stout dual plate fork for on/ off road riding.
Credit Alistair Spence (Duncan Cycles) for the inspiration on this one. I probably won't finish it until Tuesday or Wednesday - need more material - but I'm excited at my progress so far.
A friend of mine and I are doing a themed photo contest between ourselves.
The last theme was "My Backyard," though, only the berries, cardinal and phone pole were shot after the theme was selected.
The new one theme "Kitchen Utensils." Here are my first three entries.

The Lacrosse Rack will keep your lacrosse gear off the floor and in one place. This rack also serves as a drying rack.
Rack n' Ruin is an action adventure game featuring Rack, a demonic wizard with a flair for chaos and destruction.
Use a combination of malevolent magic, apocalyptic abilities, woeful weapons and insidious items as you journey across a vast open world. Ransack ancient dungeons, defeat hordes of heroic and unholy forces, battle a collection of behemoths and bosses, and discover the secrets of the land you seek to conquer. Watch your demonic powers grow as you enslave and corrupt the land, twisting fairytales into nightmares and turning paradise into pandemonium.
The wonderful hand-painted artwork within the game is created by former Blizzard artist Tyler Hunter, whose work you may have seen in World of Warcraft, Starcraft 2, Diablo 3 and Prey. Rack n' Ruin aims to recapture the magic of classic adventure games like Legend of Zelda and Alundra, while also drawing inspiration from modern indie titles such as the Binding of Isaac. It's a nostalgic yet fresh experience - a cheeky adventure that leads players on an enchanting journey.

Dinner @ "Pistacchio" in Shanghai.
More like a few lamb chops rather than "a rack of lamb".
Then said, they arrived smelling really great and enticing, with a sear seductive with an alluring smoky grilled aroma. The flesh was bursting with juices and was very tender. As my mate remarked, him being not a very big fan of lamb, there was almost no hint of animalic notes. Indeed they were not - they could be mistaken for pork in fact, if not, for that very faint undertone.
The roasted vegetable tower (capsicum, zucchini, cucumber and brinjal) was exquisite and I love that they were so soft, almost marshmallowy.
