Chris and Steve visited the CDOT Bureau of Sign Management to take inventory of removed bike racks.
We hope to be able to donate these bike racks to schools and universities.
Bike racks are removed for several reasons, including to accommodate sidewalk cafes and damage.

I made this hexayurt rack out of 2" PVC. Pipe, glue and connectors were under $100. I spray painted it to give it a metallic look. I can lift it in and out of my Chevy Silverado by myself and the hexayurt slides in nicely while giving me room to stack shipping boxes underneath.
When the hexayurt is not in use, it is wrapped in a tarp and stored in this. I stack other BM related stuff underneath.

This is the Rack of Lamb I made tonight for dinner...it was SOOOOO good!! It's the best I've ever made - I guess I'm getting better!! It's my own recipe I made up and the gravy is homemade also....oh man, I wish I had more!!

DIY bike cargo rack. The support struts are hanging bars used by moving companies to tranport clothes on hangers in boxes.
I plan to use the rack for a lightweight camping setup or to transport my small amateur radio gear to field sites.

This shoe rack was affected by the posts of 'Pallet Shoe Rack' (which is a circular theme of recycling art). I thougt it is an awesome idea for flats with too little space. But on the other hand it will be very difficult to add some pallet on the wall. My girlfriend also complained about the method how the shoes are sticked in: "...it will scratching my good shoes!"
So i decided to improve these ideas of shoe rack:
I used the concept of lean furniture and holding function by own weight of the shoes... so there it is.

A simple hook rack can be a garage organization essential. Use this rack near the door to the house for coats, keys, backpacks or leashes. Place the rack for multi-tool storage.
The corkscrew rack is good looking and passably functional. Access in and out of the rack is somewhat cumbersome and tangling of bikes may be a problem. Elements supporting bikes are best designed at 90 degrees vertical.
Elsewhere, I have seen an example where the rack is mounted on a wall, giving it a different orientation and arguably providing a much better use of the design.

I have been wanting a rack/shelf to put my nail polish on. I see them at the nail shops and really like them. I decided to look online and I found one. This one holds 90 bottles and I only have about half of it full. I guess it's better to have more storage room, then not enough. My husband hung this shelf up in my bathroom.
