I picked up this wood & masonite sandpaper rack today for $5.00 at Midwest Hardware's Going out of Business There were like 5-6 layers of masking tape over the front edge covering all the wording up. Most of the tape is off now. There were about 20 decals with price increases stuck on the sides inline with each shelf. The decals literally fell off whe the scrapper hit them.
The vertical edge on the left read Wet or Dry Production Papers. The right edge reads Fine, Very Fine, Super Fine, (Larry Fine - just kidding), Course, Very Course and Super Course.
The whole "turquois is a cool colour" thing that happened in 94 is just starting to lose its grip on saskatoon. I bet some poor soccer mom misses that bad boy.
This is a retro vintage magazine rack. It's so beautiful and unique. A
great piece for retro room or office!

Siemon rack hinges are designed to allow rack mounted patch panels to swing out (horizontally) from the
rack. The hinges are available in 2 and 3U sizes which can be combined to mount 4 and 6U panels. The 2U

We had all of these kitchen utensils just sticking out of a jar and I kept knocking them over and almost cutting my hand on the knives, so I decided to make a little rack.
It's made from a part of a coat hanger, held up by two screws and then the little hooks were made from paperclips. This was all done with my Leatherman in about 30 minutes. Problem solved!
Jiggs Bar. Jiggs, Nevada. Had a great time here with barkeep Harry and two wisecracking Shoshone. [Shot through a crap $10 Zeikos wide-angle lens extension I found on eBay. No post-processing.]
Incidentally, in 1965 Volkswagen came to town and packed the entire population into a van. Here's proof:
Fit up of the shortened tang and new slotted stub. Everything seems to clear the brake and the lower headset cup OK.
Bike racks designed by David Byrne. They are part of the Anderson Collection at Stanford University, but can be used to lock up your bike.
They also display the closeness to Silicon Valley.
Wire guides for the wiring between the headlamp and the remote switch. Can you guess what these formerly were? ;)
Bike rack outside the National Bank of Denmark. The building was designed by Arne Jacobsen... I wonder if these bike racks outside the front entrance were, too.
This a shot of the racks we have at GU2 the student radio station of Surrey University where I am technical manager.
The large one houses our logging, web streaming and storage servers as well as the main playout PC and the general purpose web PC At teh top we have teh patch panels and multicore cables from the studios going into limiters. These take care of the blinky lights quota.
The smaller rack houses our AM transmitter, a mono 5 band equaliser as well as CCTV, Sat TV and an AM reciever.
The rest is just Technical storage/mess.
A Nitto "Mark's rack", kindly modified to fit the fork crown threaded mounts by Rob Perks. I have a bench vise, I could have done it myself, but I would have scarred up the struts somehow I think.
The fender is obviously not attached yet. It's an old set of Velo Orange fenders I'd picked up for another project that ended up going another way. May use them here, but trying to decide if fluted looks best or smooth (or, possibly hammered). Or I could do like Peter Weigle and paint the center panel of the fender a nice matching yellow or contrasting cobalt to match the headset. Decisions, decisions.
