We spotted this outside of the Oregon Zoo in Portland, Oregon. Too good not to take a photo of.

R2D2 is an astromech droid who received commendation for saving Padmé Amidala's ship from a Trade Federation attack. Years-later, Padmé's son Luke would become the charge of R2D2.
It has begun. I've been bitten by the collector bug and I must add more 3.75in vintage figures to my collection.
The Boba Fett is from my childhood, and original 1979 (came out on the Star Wars card even before he appeared in Empire Strikes Back).
The humanoid robot is the Deathstar Droid, who appeared in the first Star Wars movie in the sand crawler scene, then later in the Deathstar but painted black. He was given to me recently by someone in gratitude for some work I did for them. It's an original 1978 figure.
The red astromech droid is R5D4, also from the sand crawler scene. I bought this droid from a second hand shop about 10 years ago. It's paper torso sticker was virtually all rubbed off, so I replaced it with a sticker purchased off ebay. It's from 1978.
The last guy is my newest addition, an R2D2 bought by my gf for me. It's an original 1977 vintage R2D2. It's sticker is a little torn but mostly in very good condition so I won't be touching it, just leave it as is.
And so now, the collecting begins!
