Here he is napping on my sons bed. Because the weather has been so nice, I haven't been taking many indoor shots, and therefore no cat pictures. more to come
One leg fully assembled from foot to shoulder. I just need to attach the hub for connecting the leg to the frame and then all of the details can be reattached. You can see the wires running from the motor in the battery box to a hole in the shoulder.

This was an amazing working R2D2. It contains 6 batteries, the movement lasts for 5 hours and the lights 2. And it took the guy 3 years to make and cost him £10,000
The R2D2 Building as it is called sometimes in blue ( the black and white reflections on the left side are from its next door neighbor, the Prudential.
