We stopped in Placerville proper for lunch at Subway and this quote was above the entrance of the business next door.

As in it took patience to create this one and patience to allow it to render.

Na ścianie, tuż obok mojego nowego mieszkania.

On the wall. Next to my new flat.

Come on and "check in" on our "specials", if you know what I mean.

10.29.10. Debbie gave me this chocolate at work. The quote was perfect for the day.

“The acceptance of oneself is the essence of the whole moral problem and the epitome of a whole outlook on life....But what if I should discover that the least among them all, the poorest of all the beggars, the most impudent of all the offenders, the very enemy himself -- that these are within me, and that I myself stand in need of the alms of my own kindness -- that I myself am the enemy who must be loved -- what then?...We hide it from the world; we refuse to admit ever having met this least among the lowly in ourselves.”

This one was rather soothing, hence the quotation.

This graphic is neither. Hence the quotation.

Sometimes, magic happens. I think this was one of those times.

Presenting something just a little bit different.

Was particularly pleased with this one. Lets just say that it came as something of a surprise.

Dying is not romantic, and death is not a game which will soon be over... Death is not anything...death is not...It's the absence of presence, nothing more...the endless time of never coming back...a gap you can't see, and when the wind blows through it, it makes no sound...

Tom Stoppard (1937 - )

The image for this quotation comes from a modified photo of a Lego instruction booklet.

Dedicated to one of my Maths colleagues - she requested the quotation. Weirdly it fits the image quite well.

We take pictures to record our personal vision of the world. - Anonymous - Nikon slogan

The quotation for this one is a bit different. You can find out more about its origins at the at the African Proverbs website.

This one looks like half a flower. Oddly, that is a good thing.

found at 'Trader' Joe's

It says: "That state is a state of slavery in which a man does what he likes to do in his spare time and in his working time that which is required of him."

Through our scientific genius, we have

made this world a neighborhood: now

through our moral and spiritual development

we must make of it a brotherhood. In a real

sense, we must learn to live together as

brothers, or we will perish together as

fools.

Another "old" variation experiment that worked better than anticipated.

Its different, but I like it.

This one reminds me fabric that is really stretchy. Took a while to find colours that "worked".
