I found the poem in some old notes and the first two stanzas aren't included here.

The image for this comes from a modified photo of a picture from a magazine.

Roosevelt quotation at the American Natural History Museum. (I was bored while Jeff took care of our tickets.)

Loved the quote :) It would be worse if the access cover looked like this though.

This one reminded me of a stained glass window.

the quotation is from a picture drawn by a friend. also, for some reason, a little tiny version of the image was put into the top left corner of the image, either when i uploaded or scanned it. I did not draw this tiny little version.

I know it's not really quotation mark abuse (in the context of the article), but it kind of works.

Is it just me or does this look like a rather colourful drain?

original lino block print 4.5" square (11.4 cm square), showing books with a quotation if you read all the spines. "The purpose of the artist is to take ordinary objects and things and to turn them into magic" was written on a piece of paper found amongst the effects of Canadian artist Zbigniew Blazje (1942-2004) by his daughter, who is a good friend of mine.

Op 16 december 1966 werd Het Rode Boekje gepubliceerd.

De buitenkant is van rood plastic.

De maten zijn 9,5 bij 13,5 cm.

 

Uitgegeven door Foreign Languages Press Peking in ?

Het luidde de Culturele Revolutie in, waar de Volksrepubliek China jaren onder gebukt ging.

Het boekje werd uitgedeeld aan scholieren, volksmilities en de Rode Garde en werd door miljoenen Chinezen tijdens dagelijkse groeps- of massasessies uit het hoofd geleerd.

Lets just say that I learned this lesson the hard way. Just hoping that something will happen is a pointless waste of time.

Dedicated to a colleague who is the longest serving staff member at school - and he has the mascot / soft toy to prove it!

Not my best work. For some reason I thought it would be OK when rendered but its nothing special. Some days go like that.

Took this shot of the trillium that grows in our lily-of-the-valley bed.

Only half the quotation marks because the festivities don't actually last all night.
