Apparently the human brain is hardwired to recognise faces - even when no face is actually there. So, can you see the face in this one?
Perhaps this is a dangerous new weapon soon to be unleashed. If it is, then the quotation makes sense.
Here is another apophysis image. I took the main image and reflected it in Paintshop Pro to create the metallic strip. Got lucky with the quotation.
The quotation on this gravestone comes from Mark Antony's tribute to Brutus at the end of Shakespeare's Julius Caesar.
(Now we're in Union Field Cemetery, another of the 17 cemeteries clustered together near the middle of the Brooklyn-Queens border.)
One of a series of photographs with thought provoking quotations concerning human and animal rights, and the environment which will focus on anything motivating, uplifting or informative concerning these issues. Also inspirational quotations and anything generally uplifting or positive.

This one is too ornate for my taste. Lets just say that the quest to produce something truly amazing with Incendia continues. I know it can be done - but actually doing it is proving to be something of a challenge.
Christmas Cheerfulness embodied in a tree:
"Developing a cheerful disposition can permit an atmosphere wherein one's spirit can be nurtured and encouraged to blossom and bear fruit. Being pessimistic and negative about our experiences will not enhance the quality of our lives." ~Barbara W. Winder

Interestingly, Incendia has forced me to learn a lot of useful stuff about PSP! The "select similar" option is extremely useful although PSP still does not get rid of all the jaggies.
I've decided to do one more experiment to find out if I can get Incendia to behave. If said experiment fails, I may ditch the program.
In the Netherlands we use quotation marks 66 up open and 99 up closed. In several places you can find examples of 66 down open (Newspaper NRC) and 66 up close (this restaurant on the menu).
The quotation comes from an article by -Ingvi Hrannar Ómarsson

This gem came from our Advanced Physics invigilator as he was
describing the procedure for a fire alarm to us. The last two exams
went pretty well, I think, so we'll see what comes back - my
prediction is a high 2.i or a low 1st, but it's impossible to tell
which side of the fence. Pirates 3 was seen in the evening (it was
piratetastic), and then I stayed up until some awful hour chatting to
Kaleen and Felix. Definitely sweet relief, though.

Found In our garden.
Life---
a flower opens
someone's born,
a flower withers,
someone passes,
it's the circle of life,
the essence of living.
It's a wonderful circle that never ends, and that's what a circle is, isn't it?
This slogan has recently been applied to the wall of the men's locker room at the sports centre. My first reaction was "no, I certainly don't".
Then I googled it and discovered that they're quoting wildly out of context. Here's the original text, from Sports Illustrated:
"Do we ask too much of sports? Or do they ask too much of us? We ask that sports not only reveal our character but create it. We ask that athletes not just entertain us but transform us. That they make us somehow better.
...
I am old enough now to know that there is no making sense of sports, or society, really. There is only the endless hunt to uncover the small truths about who we think we are."
So it's a quotation about the young and naive. Appropriate for a university sports centre, but only in an ironic and slightly mean-spirited way.
