Today, I headed out to the National coal Mining museum for a few pics. I didn't get there as I was the 1st car to arrive at the scene of a head on collision between 2 other cars. Later, after 1 casualty was airlifted away & the other rushed off by ambulance (after the car had been taken apart by a hunky fire crew) I turned around and headed home feeling thankful that I hadn't been involved, and shocked at how transient life is. The police called me to let me know that the couple I helped luckily had only suffered minor injuries and were ok.

The more shocking fact was that a few seconds before I arrived at the crash scene I passed 3 vehicles that had turned around not stopping to help. Shame on you!
