This is an ironic variation on the center part of Michelangelo's fresco "The Creation of Adam" from circa 1511. The famous original is to be found in the Sistine Chapel whereas this quotation graces a wall in the Arrenberg quarter of Wuppertal / Germany.

I created a 2013 calendar using a picture of our cat Raven and a quotation from "Eragon"

While at a friends place recently taking a few photos of the unique knick-knacks she has collected over the years, this figurine captured my attention. Not really interesting enough to just up-load to flickr, but it's amazing what some 'playing around' with cropping and enlarging the original photo will do. Found a suitable scrapbook background for the right side of the image to blend in nicely and add words. This is the end result from just a close-up of the figurine. I'm rather pleased with the result! How about you folk?
