Really like the quotation on this one. It turns out that finding the perfect gradient for this one took ages. Thus is life.

This quotation brings a little perspective to cancer. We think it is the worse thing ever but I've also heard that the cancer society excels at marketing. It's a shame that the marketing work by the cancer society causes us to lose perspective on the world.

This egg comes from one of three Japanese Bantam hens that I once kept free ranging in my backyard. The egg was part of "All Her Eggs in One Basket", a piece that I created for the Venus Envy art show in Memphis in 2004. I have written the following three quotations on the surface.

I took a picture of Christmas lights and edited the photo using ComicLife. Then I added the quotation I found somewhere.
There's about thirty pounds of 35mm movie film in that box, a lot to “hold.” That's why hand trucks were created.
For this design, I was given a task to produce an illustration based around a quotation. I used basic but effective techniques that can change the outcome of the illustrations.
