Un acercamiento a esta curiosa orquídea, con unos labelos muy largos y retorcidos como un sacacorchos en cada una de las flores individuales. El escarabajo (heliotaurus) debe ser el insecto polinizador ya que en varios ejemplares se encontraban quizás atraídos por el olor característico de esta especie.

el fango en flor, y sé lo que me dices;
ya sé que con tus propias hojas secas
se han nutrido de nuevo tus raíces.

tu instinto vegetal no se equivoca:

These are a pair of festive earring that my OH bought for me in Cardiff yesterday. Useful as photo props but useless as earrings because I haven't worn dangly earrings since we started to wear masks . I might though wear them at home for MS Cymru's Festive Zoom Quiz this coming Friday.

Tener hambre es muy malo. Pero quizás es peor que te acusen de haberte comido lo que no te has comido.
Esa es la impresión que da esta foto con el pequeño saltamontes. El no se ha comido esos pétalos, en esta etapa de su vida solo come el polen que hay en los estambres de la flor.

I bought the Music Trivia, thinking that Stew might enjoy it, and he did. I then found the Literary Quiz book amongst my poetry books. I know nothing about music trivia and I've discovered that I know very little about literature, or at least about the questions in this book.
