Un grupo de ciervos se ven sorprendidos por mi aparición desde detrás de unas rocas en esta accidentada ladera. Al establecerse la alerta ante mi súbita presencia, se agrupan y parecen formar un desdibujado triángulo natural.
Quizá intentando protegerse mutuamente, permanecieron breves instantes así, luego desaparecieron como el viento, por el barranco que queda a sus espaldas.
Otra foto sin archivo raw, que forma parte de un disco externo perdido.
Los metadatos que creo recordar: 300 mm, F/7.1, V/1600, iso 800.
Captada con una 7D y 70-300 F4-5.6 L. A pulso, como la mayoría de mis fotografías de fauna silvestre. Finales del verano del 2011.

Several pairs of Summer Tanagers popped up briefly at the blinds at South Llano River State Park. This female gave me a questioning look before both of us departed: me for home and her for greener pastures.

I'm sorry. Since I promised that I will be posting a photo I actually took today, this is all I got. I've run out of inspirations and ideas and I'm tired. I have a chemistry and history quiz tomorrow and I haven't even studied. So please forgive me for posting this photo. As soon as Cheering practice is over, i promise to post better pictures.

{Seasons 2019} My diary
Supongo que como para todos en este grupo, uno de mis mayores hobbies es la fotografia, especialmente desde hace 10 meses que es cuando hice mi primer curso y empecé a entender el modo manual de mi vieja Nikon. Antes de ello, mi principal hobby siempre había sido la pintura. Mi padre es un pintor autodidacta increíble y desde pequeñita le había visto pintar auténticas maravillas, desde óleos híper realistas hasta retratos a pastel para conocidos y familiares. Me podía pasar horas a su lado embobada viéndole pintar. No sé si fue por eso o porque se lleva en la sangre, pero desde ya muy muy pequeña se me dió muy bien dibujar. Plástica era, como no, mi asignatura favorita y soñaba con estudiar Bellas Artes, pero le hice caso al orientador escolar y me decanté por la enseñanza de idiomas. Me he arrepentido toda mi vida.
He pintado casi de todo, algún óleo, acuarelas, arenas... pero sobre todo retratos a lápiz, especialmente para amigos y algún familiar.
Le tengo un especial cariño a uno que le hice a mi padre de una fotografía del día de mi boda. Es del que estoy más orgullosa, y además, el verle emocionado cuando se lo regalé me llegó al alma. Siempre me había dicho que un artista casi nunca se ve bien retratado y verlo así con el suyo es algo que jamás olvidaré.
Por desgracia, el trabajo, la familia y la casa me dejan poquito tiempo para hobbies y la fotografia ha pasado a ser el número uno. Aún así, me muero de ganas por empezar un óleo, quizás de alguna de las fotografías que he hecho y ya de paso pues los uno los dos. Tengo un par de lienzos en blanco esperándome.
