Whilst at work I wanted to take a quick snap of the original 'Deano' (top bloke) on a D60 with a second hand sync lead. I didn't have a clue what I was doing with the nissin flash gun but you can see his shirt is overexposed. Nevertheless I did play around with this image in post process.
The one place Dave did not want to miss on our tour was the Quick Stop, the convenience store in the Leonardo section of Middletown Township, NJ where Clerks was filmed. My friend Vincent was one of the rooftop hockey players and also worked on the film in post-production.
The video rental place next door -- also in the movie -- closed years ago, but sits just as it was, dusty VHS tapes on the shelves, like some kind of museum.
This is as close to the field at Calgary's horse mascot would get, by the time they scored a TD late in the game, the horse had left the building.
Our car needed a quick muffler fix before we headed into the Kruger. We were lucky to find these handy mechanics!

Cheetas at Chester Zoo taken using miniature mode from viewing balcony. Unfortunately it's not quite applied the affect to the right area as the top left cheeta crosses the in-focus line but still an interesting shot.
