These are very nice comfortable sneakers, including a "sock" shaft and upper. Like most sneakers this size, they fit snug but comfortable. Also, because the toe of the upper is stretchable woven material, it conforms to your foot. I'm sure I could easily wear several sizes smaller. However Adidas didn't make many "youth" sized Tubular Dooms, I had to really search the Internet to find these.
I like the high built in sock. You may have noticed I am not much of a sock person. Partly because many of my decrepit sneakers have holes in the soles, which would quickly become holes in the socks.
When my workplace used to require socks, but I often wore the holey loafers. I has a set of old worn out socks I wore. The toes of the socks were cut off near the heel. So there was no sock to interfere with the hole in the shoe sole. But the sock above the ankle satisfied the dress code. This all went away when everyone started wearing "no show" socks. Most of the time My version of "no show" was no sock.
I do sometimes wear socks with some shoes when the temperature is very low, and these conveniently have the sock as part of the shoe.

A quick test in the store of the new tamron 70-300vc hand held at 300mm and 1/15 shutter!
Had to buy it.
I did some messing around in GIMP with layers and came up with this. Thought the original image was just a tad underexposed.
Two Greater Manchester Police (GMP) officers were honoured on Friday 6 August 2021 for their bravery and courage following a terrifying ordeal.
PCs Alicia Snowden and Simon Toft from GMP's Stockport division were awarded the John Egerton Trophy by Chief Constable Stephen Watson in a presentation also attended by members of their family and the Stockport Senior Leadership Team.
At around midday on Friday 12 March 2021, police received several reports concerning an aggressive man at Woodley Health Centre on Hyde Road.
In three separate incidents that happened in quick succession, a man was assaulted through his car window, health staff were threatened to handover medication and staff inside the patient's waiting room were confronted with knives.
First to attend was PC Toft along with his colleague in training, who he was mentoring at the time, PC Snowden.
The man lunged at one of the officers who had to use his taser to safely detain him.
PC Toft said "When we attend incidents, we have to be prepared for every eventuality and things can very quickly change depending on the individual and the threat to life.
"As the situation escalated, I had a growing concern for, not only the welfare of the members of the public but also myself and PC Snowden. Myself and PC Snowden worked together and as I am a taser-training officer - we were thankfully able to detain the suspect until further patrols arrived."
PC Snowden said "I'd just finished the first five weeks of my tutor phase with PC Toft. Due to the situation changing so rapidly, there was no time for Simon to fully brief me so my job was to be aware of my surroundings and do what I'd been trained to do whilst keeping myself, my colleague and the public safe.
"The extensive and thorough training we go through as officers gives you every eventuality however until you are faced with a scenario such as this one, you never know how the incident is going to play out.
"I am thankful for the training that I had been given together with the way myself and PC Toft worked together to prevent anyone coming to harm."
Chief Constable Stephen Watson said "This incident, whilst shocking, shows the danger that our officers run towards on a daily basis. They put themselves in situations that others would run from, to protect our communities and thanks to their quick actions, this incident ended without harm or injury.
"I am proud to have two such officers as a part of our force - they are both truly deserving of the John Egerton Trophy for outstanding bravery and I am delighted they will now represent GMP in the Police Bravery Awards later on in the year."
The award is named after Constable John Egerton, who was killed in the line of duty on 11 March 1982 in Farnworth aged just 20. His death prompted students at the Bruche Police Training Centre to present a cup to the Chief Constable, which became known as the John Egerton Trophy. The trophy is awarded annually to an officer or officers of GMP who has performed the most meritorious act of valour during the year and the winner is selected by the Police Federation.
Quick Montélimar Sud 05/06/2017 10h06
I visited this place three year ago (Quick Montélimar Sud - 2014 when there were only rumours of Quick being taken over by Burger King. Now the rebranding of Quick in France is in full swing. As we speak (* June 2017) Quick has 287 restaurants open in France and Burger King 149. But the transformation is going fast. Montélimar is still a 'zero Whopper' city, but it will be very possible that this Quick restaurant will be transforemed in a 'Home of the Whopper'.

A quick to make soup perfect when you sick and in need of something to build your strength. (the time i usually make it)
5 large potatoes sliced thin,
a handful of peas,
a small onion chopped,
1 pint of vegetable stock,
1 pint of milk,
2 bay leafs,
4 slices of bacon (optional)
a few pieces of cubed good quality cheese (optional)
salt
This recipe is a bit of a love hate thing even without our house i love it my sister hates it.
The microwave is your friend, you will be pleased to hear.
Put the potatoes, onion, peas, bay leaf and stock into a bowl and zap with the microwave for about 7 minutes or until everything is soft.
Take the bay leafs out of the soup and blitz in a food blender until its smooth.
Stir in the milk then taste as salt you WILL need to but be careful a little bit at a time you really dont want it too salty remember your adding bacon and cheese.
Put it back into the microwave and heat it again for a couple of minutes.
Optional extras
add a few cubes of cheese and mix into the piping hot soup so they begin to melt
While the soup is cooking fry of your bacon (pancetta would be great just didnt have any today) you want the bacon to be nice and crispy. sprinkle on top on the soup.
Serve with a big chunk of bread and butter and feel instantly better.

mode takes a series of snapshots of a narrow slit in the center of the image area (see note on previous image post) and builds the final image up by placing those snapshots side by side from left to right across the image. Although the result resembles photos one gets by panning the camera with the moving object, moving objects here are stretched or foreshortened depending on how fast they move across the fixed slit. Fast moving objects cross the slit more quickly and end up in fewer snapshots and therefore get foreshortened in the final image, slower moving objects end up in more of the snapshots and therefore are stretched out, if nothing moves across the slit during one or more snapshots those portions simply are repeated in each snapshot and end up looking like lines of color across the image. Note also that objects that pass in front of the slit from left to right are reversed, e.g. compare the lettering on the ends of the two light rail trains, on the foreground train the lettering is reversed vs the correct reading lettering of the background train.
The left right axis of the final image is temporal not spatial, objects on the left of the final image crossed the slit before those to the right of them, e.g. the blue-white-yellow light rail train is not to the left of the red-white train, it just crossed the slit before the red-white one did. The only spatial information is height and depth, right and left are replaced by the temporal axis. i4s4788
